I know we've got the Maupay and Ryan dropped threads so Mods merge if you wish, but do we actually know why Connolly wasn't in the squad yet?
Listening to the Albion Unlimited podcast this morning, they were talking in quite a certain way that he has had a bit of a bad attitude and that's why...
This was the question in the survey that took me the longest to answer, found it really difficult. Still not sure I agree with my choice as I regret not putting March in now, but anyway went for:
1. Dunk;
2. Lamptey;
3. Alzate.
How did you all vote?
Couldn't see another thread. Quite straight forward for me, Welbeck into the match day squad for Dunk. Alzate then replaces Dunk in the team with White dropping back:
--------------------Ryan
--------White - Webster - Burn
Lamptey - Bissouma - Alzate - March
-------------------Lallana...
Yes I appreciate as a 38 year old man I should probably grow up but I still look forward to the new FIFA coming out every year! And it is the only computer game I play in fairness!
Anyway, many others on here getting it or played it yet? I’m an Xbox man for any interested in playing online.
I...
Possibly the best and most exciting central midfield partnership we’ve ever had?
I am so excited about the prospect of watching these 2 dominate midfields this season. It’s what we’ve struggled with most since promotion and the most important area we needed to improve to move up to the next level.
Noticed he didn't feature for the under 23's in their friendly despite using 22 players.
Anyone know if he's injured or maybe training with the first team? Or maybe Leeds have finally got the picture re: White and we're lending them another centre back for a season so we can repeat all this...
Sorry for the dull subject but hoping for some assistance form the collective wisdom of NSC.
My MOT was due this month but has been extended 6 months to January according to the online record because of Covid. I assumed that meant that I didn't have to take it to a garage which is just as well...
Played an absolute blinder today. Starting 11 and tactics perfect against Norwich and great substitutions and change of tactics at the right time. Also 3 clean sheets in a row on the road now.
I was extremely positive about him at the start of the seaon and even more so now, he’s learnt more as...
A mystery to me!
Looked totally off the pace and didn’t get in the game at all and then produces a touch that Messi or Maradonna would be proud of to set up the goal!
Fantastic assist.
After witnessing that today and recent performances, I really believe we’ve got to start questioning the mentality and ability of some our long term players rather than point fingers at Potter.
It was so unbelievably similar to how we played from February to the end of last season. We have...
Can’t mess around with Alzate and Mooy on the right anymore, both are crucial to us and have to be central. 4-2-3-1:
Ryan
Montoya - Webster - Dunk - Bernardo
Propper - Alzate
March - Mooy - Trossard
Maupay
Watching the Southampton game - how did the referee not give that Wolves penalty in the first place before the VAR review?! The most blatant penalty you could ever see. Another example of VAR making referee’s worse by bottling out of giving decisions like that.
So with Maupay and Murray off I do hope Potter is watching this absolute exhibition from Pep on how to play with no strikers!
It is wonderful to watch.
How are we going to keep hold of him?!
An absolute star in the making. The ability and arrogance he has just shown on the pitch in his premier league debutis quite something to behold.
We’ve got a real gem on our hands.
So now we’re safe, Chris will probably keep his job. Not my choice as I don’t think we will progress under him and this season has been absolutely painful to watch but I can see why some will say he’s earnt that chance. Do we expect to see any changes to this side starting next season though...
I think this is an area of the pitch where we have struggled at times this season but thought we looked a lot stronger in centre midfield on Saturday with Bissouma starting ahead of Stephens and really hope now Bissouma and Propper start every game there when fit. I do think they are both...
Have we ever witnessed such a decline in a player between one season and the next? What has happened this season?
Like most, I was in love with him last season but he has looked woeful so far this. Incredibly lucky to keep his place at the moment. How do we get the old Gross back?!
Well it’s only fair!
If I was disappointed with how we played against 10 man Leicester, Hughton deserves huge credit for how he set the team up today. Absolutely magnificent from start to finish.
Palace on the other hand were dreadful from start to finish.
CH was taught a coaching lesson today by Puel. We were so predictable and disappointing, it was an inevitable outcome. Huge 2 points dropped.
Hopefully we learnt how to play away from home with 10 men though following our surrender against Cardiff, but I doubt it.
