He’s still got 2 years plus an extra year’s option

I agree the club roundup is very much spin. On the whole I think the loan business this season has been dreadful.
Long article because there’s a lot of evidence. It really doesn’t take much empathy to put yourself in the shoes of a transwoman for one moment, to deduce that her posts to her millions of followers is denying their existence and cannot be anything other than “anti trans”. I think you’re just...
But that's the point...people are talking about 'blanket bans' which are exclusionary and don't take into account the nuance of sports like chess, nor the nuance of transwomen transitioning at different stages of their lives.
I'm not looking to prove that transwomen should be allowed to compete in other female sports, but neither is it 'leftfield' as it's been in the news within the last 18 months: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/67127168
All I'm saying is that if you support that ban then yes you are prejudiced.
Given there is nothing physical about playing chess, in my opinion anyone that says transwomen should be excluded from participating is prejudiced, and I find it mad that anyone could think otherwise.
So to be clear, you genuinely think that a transwoman who has lived a large part of their life as a woman, and enjoys playing competitive chess, shouldn't be allowed to participate in a women's chess tournament? And if so, why? What advantage would they have?
Getting 8th and Conference League would be absolutely brilliant for us.
1. We'd have a chance of winning the trophy
2. We'd get to go to obscure places in Europe
3. Having the ridiculously oversized squad that we will have in the summer would be worth it, and we wouldn't have to loan out really...
Ah I've just checked again and it's there now in the offers section. No idea why it's there now especially after what I was told on the phone, maybe it just takes a few weeks to appear for new card holders.
Same for me too. I called them up and they said that offer isn't available for the non-fee paying cards.
edit: turns out the person I spoke to on the phone told me the wrong info.
No, that’s not allowed mid-season. Would only be allowed during the January transfer window, and like Barco, we wouldn’t necessarily be forced to take him back.
Ah fair enough I didn’t remember him being injured. And completely agree his Hull loan was probably the worst move our loans department has arranged.
I’d love for Rushworth to be good enough for a top 10 premier league side, but I’m not hugely optimistic he’ll be the upgrade on Verbruggen some...
It’s not really a case of “blocking that move” though if they don’t offer an acceptable amount. Villa spend big but I can’t see them spending more than £60m on a player.
I get the impression that if Rushworth was that highly rated internally then he’d have been given a chance already. After all, he wasn’t Hull’s first choice keeper, then got injured, then came back and played one or two games for them before his recall. Rushworth barely got any minutes on the...
He’ll probably end up being the best keeper in the world in 10 years, but right now if someone offered £50m for him I would take the money and spend some of it on a more experienced keeper with leadership qualities.
