Top clubs employ defensive coaches to work on areas that might need looking at, perhaps tweeking a little, through DVD's of games and working on the training field, things like that i guess. What they dont have to do is sit a whole side down and explain to them the art of BASIC defending...

Makes me laugh that a large percentage of fans want another Guy Butters in our present team. Whilst I wouldn't disagree with that, it seems a little Ironic that these fans also slated Butters when he first came to the club. Some fans even put him up for Sale on EBAY for £5. Funny lot!!

No its not!! - Its down to the players not being good enough to realize they need to mark tightly in and around the area. Defending is all about being Shirt tight! not standing 5 yards off!!

I dont need a defensive coach to tell me when to mark tight! Especially in our 18 yard area in the first 20 mins. These players are simply not up to it. Their strikers had the time to turn and shoot at goal so many times it was embarrasing.

Why bring the only guy off, forster, who looked like scroing everytime he got the ball. Murray as a third striker, now thats a different option entirely. Slade cant think that tactically though.
