[Albion] Des Lynam on radio 5 at 11.00 this morning

I did momentarily wonder whether I thought he’d already passed when I saw the thread title. Delighted to realise he obviously hasn’t!

[Albion] Sheffield United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

I guess crucially so did the ill-disciplined (on that occasion) Dahoud.

[Albion] Sheffield United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Well we’ve already failed to beat them at home this season! Hopefully the return of some of our most dangerous attacking players will give us the edge but I never exactly feel confident going into these types of fixtures - been burnt too many times.

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

To already have 3 PL goals to his name, as a teenager playing out of position, is scarily impressive really, and testament to how cleverly he times his runs at the back post.

    [TV] The Traitors - BBC

A lot of it doesn’t make a huge amount of sense - I’m guessing if you’re actually in there, a certain amount of clarity of thought just goes out the window and you end up blinded to a whole lot. Harry played a great game no doubt, and I doubt there’ll be another Traitor with such a clever...

[Albion] Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall **Singed for Chelsea 02/07/2024**

Also feels unlike us to be seriously pursuing him, in the January window no less, if there was zero chance of Leicester selling for any price.

[Football] Jurgen Klopp ….stepping down at end of 23/24 season

We’re in a fortunate position where De Zerbi’s undoubtedly burgeoning reputation is based on style of play and potential, rather than having achieved anything of note with a club in a position to win trophies on the regular. You could of course argue that he’d have to manage one of these clubs...

    [TV] The Traitors - BBC

Absolutely no chance :lolol: As much as I’d love Harry to get taken down in a cold, calculated fashion as it’d make great telly, I struggle to see Andrew being the one doing it.

[Football] Clubs who have made the biggest transfer losses since 2014

Yep. I guess the answer to my question is technically “no-one” (Raya only left on loan this summer) which makes their transfer dealings all the more impressive to be this high up the list following two and a half mostly successful seasons in the Prem.

[Football] Clubs who have made the biggest transfer losses since 2014

Struggling to recall who Brentford have sold of note since they came up? Guess it must mostly be sales from their Championship days (eg. Maupay to us and Benrahma to West Ham).

    [Albion] Best individual AMEX performances

Struggle to look past Hazard and Coutinho in that 17/18 season - both absolutely instrumental in their respective sides taking us to the cleaners and I still get nightmares about the sight of Hazard picking the ball up and running towards a backpedaling Duffy.

Christ he’s getting about at the moment! Hasn’t seen much of him in the media of late and then 3 different radio shows/podcasts in about the space of 2 days.

    [Palace] #cpfc

Who remembers all the Palace fans who were fully supportive of Roy when he returned to replace Vieira, seemingly under the impression he’d suddenly learned how to play enterprising attacking football after a reasonably promising start? I don’t understand how they can expect to do any more than...
