Yes the monkey is off our back re Fulham in the PL. Hard work today but a bit of luck and wham a penalty to us. To be honest a draw would have been ok but I'm greedy and wanted the 3 points.

As some poster have said we need to up our intensity and be quicker in the passing in the 2nd half. Sometimes it looks like walking football. It's ok away from home to get the home crowd moaning but it keeps our crowd quiet.

From my memory of the muff game in 1971 they turned up in the NS virtually as the gates opened at 1.00-1.30pm. There was a big police presence in the NS separating us from them but still fighting going on. After the game there was fighting all the way to the Greyhound stadium as muff came...

I thought that chelsea (no surprise really) didn't do themselves any PR favours when Veltman accidentally touched one of their players and the guy cried so Veltman put the ball out of play. You would have expected chelsea to give the ball back to us but no they didn't. They kept on attacking. No...

Well done to all who predicted a win for the good guys tonight. Not a point for me as I stupidly stated that chelsea will get a goal and we'll get three. I should have realised this from the cup game last week. :thumbsup:

Likewise last week the whole family went down with the norovirus sick bug and this win is the tonic to make me feel better.

The only stats that really matters is goals for and those 3 points to us. Notts Forest had only about 38 per cent possession against us and scored 7 goals. Even though chelsea had more possession tonight they didn't look like scoring. Did they even have a shot on target tonight.

All's well that ends well. We deserved this tonight but a bit of a goalkeeping nightmare at the start. Kept going and didn't really give chelsea a sniff in front of goal. What a confidence boost for the team.

Didn't we try 10 attackers against NF on Saturday. Look where that got us.

I think everyone is thinking this right now. Poor poor performance today. Other than a couple of decent chances 1st half we deserved the spanking. Crap defending, no midfield fight no cohesion etc etc. when Notts forest attack it's quick and efficient. Our attack by comparison is snail paced...

It's a hard lesson for us today. Notts taking their chances and we aren't. Could have been 3-2. Other than scoring 4 goals 2nd half what else can we do. Who do we bring on to change the game.
