Missed out on The Smile tickets at Brighton Centre when they first went on sale. Managed to get a resale standing for £70 which is a bit steep but listening to the albums it’s basically Radiohead so convincing myself it was the correct decision.
Peel favourite Eek-A-Mouse is playing on 2nd...
The coach I was on was due to drop off at Woking on the return home, the driver had forgotten this. We ended up having to go to the next junction and then return back the way we had come. Added another 20 mins to an already very long journey. No one seemed that bothered though.
I always have a bit of cash in my car for parking etc. Having said that most of Brighton and Hove parking is not only cash free but now card free- the only option is to pay by phone which is a right ballache to use.
Your dad would enjoy reading Cloud Money by Brett Scott which is all about the war against cash and the manipulation of the general public by the powers that be.
A lot of kids in the Brighton end yesterday- enticed by the cheap tickets I would guess. I don’t think many of those at the top of the points system would have gone to West Ham and Stoke in the same week.

Thanks Kevo. I will check them out- love a bit of airfix. Thanks too for the Seapower Tunbridge date. Unfortunately the whole of that February tour coincides with my daughters wedding. But should make London.
Good to see that both pension and universal credit increases are higher than the percentages awarded to nurses and teachers as part of their pay deals. Pay deals that they had to fight for.
Less of a stadium- more of a ground.
Plenty of street parking available locally if you arrive early.
Good choice of beer which you can drink whilst watching. Just don't throw your plastic cup into the air should Worthing score!!!!!
Once in the ground you can stand where you like. Away...
That is pretty busy, I find October and November always good months for gig going.
I’ve also spent a fair bit of time at Chalk and was there for most of Mutations which for line up and organisation is improving yearly. Saw quite a few bands the best being Ditz, Public Service Broadcasting and...
