So out of the next 5 home games, only 1, Fulham is an afternoon game (15:00 Sat 8th)
Chelsea twice at 8pm
Bournemouth 7:30pm
Villa 7:45 pm
I know the club have limited control over timings these days, but surely they could have requested a better spread of evening games.
apparently the council will get 1% of revenue plus something like £500 000 per year in business rates, not anywhere near the amount the previous owners owed but better than nothing, which would have been the case had they not bought it
cant believe people saying the talent is jumping ship to get away from FH. Don't people realise that its an academy-the whole point is to produce footballers and sell them for a profit!- only a few will start at the academy and end up playing for us in the Premier league.
There are BHA Academy...
I really think that it doesn't matter in the great scheme of things. Awful result yes, season ending-no.
Its still just our 5th loss after 24 games, mid table, no chance of relegation and a now very outside chane of Europe.
I am more upset by the points dropped from games that realistically we...
posting this minutes after a 7-0 defeat is going to produce knee jerks
It happens, were still top half (just) we arent getting relegated, but nor are we getting Europe- its not the end of the world. we have had many worse
seasons and we will again
Te advent of 24 hour constant news has meant that the media have to fill the airtime somehow. Its led to a whole industry of creating stories that dont actually exist. Its so simple to fill hours of airtime when you actually have nothing to say.
Transfer deadline day, nothing is happening...
exactly this- Barber and Bloom haver said many many times that if a bid comes in for any player that meets Brighton's price they would sell-Caceido for example- this article says nothing more than that-Brighton willing to sell if the right offer comes in-but that goes for every single player on...
If we are all honest with ourselves, the aim of any club in the Premier League is to stay there. Even the some of the so called Big Six are not immune to flirting with relegation, just take a look at Man Utd and Spurs this season. Are they in actual danger of relegation-probably not, but should...
If we assume they had got and were going to run the story, there is a very good chance that the approach from them would have been along the lines of "we are running this story tomorrow whether you like it or not, either give us the exclusive or this is all over the paper in the morning. He...
I'm of the opinion this was a case of either you give us an exclusive and we will be "sympathetic" or we will do even more of a hatchet job. They do have form iirc. My best guess would be that someone has crawled out the woodwork and offered a kiss and tell to the sun
Imagine the headline "gay...
so this year in an exciting collaboration between the BBC and ITV you can look forward to some of the greatest sporting events Live and Free including live competitive conker league, tiddlywinks world championships, the much anticipated east sussex stool ball leagues and in a world first live...
well I thought id try AI to rewrite a post I added to another thread
Here are the two versions
I haven't seen it for years and years. It seems to have changed its remit. A quick look at the contestants shows that most already own their businesses, such as a chain of Knightsbridge salons or...
I haven't seen it for years and years , it seems to changed its remit, a quick look at the contestants shows most already own their businesses, a chain of Knightsbridge salons, pizza restaurants etc for example. So they wont become apprentice to anyone, they are already reasonably successful in...
if it was a foul, then surely the penalty should not have been given as it occurred first? Im not saying it wasn't a handball, btw just that he was pushed over first, which in the ground, directly in line with it, it certainly looked that way
I think the club continually get criticised for the travel, when in reality there is very little they have control over. I do not think they have just given up, but in reality there is little else they can do. The council seem unable to provide anything resembling a proper park and ride scheme...
i would guess a major part of the cause is 30 000 people leaving one place at the same time with one railway station. There simply is no method of moving that many people in short space of time. . Hence the attempt to stagger at least some people leaving by building the fan bar.
Last two times...
as has been said many many times, the Club have very little(if any) control over how many trains run, how long they are, how the station is developed etc
Would we all like a 12 carriage train each way every 10 mins after a match, with nice heated covered waiting areas? yes of course, but that...
