Probably not much comfort to you but, although only 7 countries on our red list, more countries are putting the UK on their red lists so worth checking before booking another destination. Our vaccination rate is now poor compared with many other first world countries so, they don’t want us...
I am certain my sons think so but, I also remember the hooligans and the fences so, not sure everything was so good at the Goldstone (bogs were a health risk and then they took the roof off the North Stand) but, so much fun!
Perhaps the old farts on NS chat could come up with some original songs which we could all have a go at.
At the back of the North Stand we just sing whatever will get the crowd supporting the team. It is bloody hard work most matches. The support is more important than the words in my opinion...
I don’t think the words were on the screen but was fantastic without.
At the Goldstone we used to have the silver band on the pitch playing it before kickoff.
Back in the Withdean days Block H knew the words.
When we moved to the Amex there were song sheets handed round in the North Stand.
I...
Interesting thread. Thanks for sticking your neck out.
I am more than happy with the precautions being taken by the Albion.
If there were to be a major COVID outbreak traced back to the Amex we would be forced back to the restrictions of last season.
No doubt the macho ‘I am too hard to ware a...
Don’t worry I was a little pissed off having followed the Club’s guidance I spent 40 mins hitting refresh as the Club hadn’t got round to putting tickets on sale. Am over it now
UTA
PS: had half a mind to keep info on tickets to my self but we are #togetherinthepremierleague.
Got that Saturday...
My suggestion was tongue in cheek. I think parking is still available for people with mobility issues at the Uni (car park 5 perhaps). One of my party of four has a disability and has a wristband to prove it.
Any priority system would be more fair than first come first served at 9am on a Tuesday...
The Club did announce that car park tickets would go on sale as for the match ticket on sale dates but, this morning forgot to put the tickets on sale at 9am until I contacted Jenny Gower I expect.
The Club is understaffed and dealing with a lot of queries regarding ticketless entry etc. But...
Jenny Gower just responded (impressed with response time).
No parking for Arsenal as Uni have open day so prawn sandwich brigade in Bridge.
Pleb parking for Man City now on ticket site. 113 left.
Same here expecting to see Arsenal and Man City at 9am this morning.
Can’t get through to Club on phone.
Live Chat is fing waste of time.
Supporter Services very busy fielding queries from supporters who are confused as Club repeatedly fails to communicate properly with supporters or, doesn’t...
Why do we get so many emails from the Club which are quite clearly wrong.
Looks like this has been sent out to everyone whether you have a linked account or not.
Have queried it with the Club (5 day response time).
I shall ignore it but my son, who has a learning disability, will panic when he...
You are so right. There are far too many ‘supporters’ in the North Stand who don’t sing but want to sit and enjoy the atmosphere created by others. No doubt these people would make a hell of a noise if they were asked to move so that a safe standing area could be created.
I stand at the back of the North Stand and have done so since we moved to the Amex.
I think most fans in the North Stand who want to stand can now do so without hassle from stewards in any case.
I am not aware of any evidence that standing in front of seats is unsafe but, obviously having a rail...
I have every sympathy for your predicament and think the Club should consider the position of those who can’t take the risk.
I was intending to go to last night’s match but decided it was too risky as one of my sons is getting married next Saturday so, am avoiding crowded places as a precaution...
PB explained on the video that rules were to protect staff and supporters,
Importantly he also said these precautions were put in place to make sure The Albion wouldn’t be responsible for a spike in COVID cases which would result in more match day restrictions.
I am often a critic of PB but I...
Have had many Alfas over the years 164, GTV, GT, Sportswagan and all have been a joy to drive and quite reliable apart from my last one which was a Spider (convertible Brera). Timing chain cost a fortune to replace and hood never worked reliably. Now have a Tesla Model 3 which is fantastic if a...
