    CMS, Baldock and Colunga

Everyone around us fell about laughing when Baldock got named MOM, possibly the worst home (full) debut in history!

Tony Bloom: I put it as a challenge to you to get more songs, get more atmosphere going.

This.... I sit it in the East upper (not known for it's atmos I know) and was warned last season by a steward for shouting too loudly, not swearing but shouting. Shouting too loudly at a football match whatever next!

He will never be fit enough for you, steer well clear, complete waste of money!

Anyone regret renewing their season ticket?

Glad i renewed along with my 2 lads who absolutely love the days at the Amex and all that goes with it. I must be one of the few that saw quite a few positives in last night's performance and am now more optimistic than I was after Saturday.

    Chris Wood to Wolves?

Wolves are still getting parachute payments and pretty impressive crowds, they are rumoured to have left 170k's worth of wages out of the squad today so I think they can compete with us. That said I'd be pretty underwhelmed if he was an Ulloa replacement.

    WARD being protected?

Kenny Jackett doesn't want him in the squad, along with Doyle and O'Hara apparently.

    Chris Wood to Wolves?

Wages may have been a stumbling block, I'm guessing he was on a fair wedge at Leicester and presumably would have moved for a pay rise.

Perfect example of why we have a chance of promotion.

I was talking about Jay Rodriguez, Austin was sold later. I think we should agree to disagree although their chairman doesn't seem to think they are that well run either.... “Despite the investment, we continue to operate with large losses,” he writes in the programme for today’s Championship...

Perfect example of why we have a chance of promotion.

I have no gripe with them and reading back through my posts I'm not sure where the hostility remark comes from. I was merely pointing out the fairytale that they gained promotion by expertly managing a shoestring budget is not all it seems. I also don't think losing 8M after selling their best...

Perfect example of why we have a chance of promotion.

An 8M loss despite parachute payments and selling their best player would suggest otherwise.

Perfect example of why we have a chance of promotion.

Average wage spend that year was just over 19M so they were only 3.5 below that. You can't just look at wage spend to decide if they are well run or not though can you. An 8 million loss in the season you're talking about, almost double their projected loss after receiving 48M in parachute...

Perfect example of why we have a chance of promotion.

I have no idea how well they are run although a quick glance at their ground tells me things aren't that great and yes they pay high wages. Why? do you think 15M a year is low?

Can someone explain to me the way Sami's full back tactics work please

The only thing I'm certain of is that I have absolutely no idea of how Sami will set his team out to play and after his comments at the fans forum regarding his captain I'm not too sure he does!

    Close to signing Ward???

Replacements don't seem to be our strong point though do they, I've seen Calde mooted as a makeshift sub for nearly every position on the pitch, let's hope HE stays fit eh?

Perfect example of why we have a chance of promotion.

Fair enough well in that case as the Amex would presumably cost significantly more to run than Turf Moor I'm guessing that their player wage bill would be at least in line with ours yes?. The point I'm trying to make is that many posters cite Burnley as an example of a well run club that gained...
