    Pay your taxes Boris!

The IRS has long arms and a long memory. It could be very interesting for him on his next visit to the US, unless of course he negotiates a settlement. There really is not an available option called 'I'm very important and therefore these rules don't apply to me'. Also ignorance of the law, as...

Lagunitas is a fine beer, California at it's best - I'm sure they'll be some in NYC later this year ready and waiting for you.

An excellent beer, in an excellent first selection you're getting through. If you go back through the thread a page or so you'll see I had a little outing to the Dogfish Head Brewery a week or so ago. Right now I'm enjoying a Starr Hill Grateful Pale Ale, from Charlottsville, Virginia. I tend...

    The Gulls Eye Dinner 1990

Wasn't at that one, had moved to Manchester so couldn't get down. But did attend two epic dinners at the Courtlands in Hove. One had the auction - perhaps they both did??? Remember talking to Gerry Ryan, late on, conversation was the Man City game when he ran through from the half way line to...

Back from yet another trip to San Francisco, at this rate I may as well move the family out there. Anywhere the high light of the return trip at the airport is the craft beer selection at the Mission Bar and Grill in the new United terminal. The Liberty Ale was good, but the Lagunitas Dogtown...

Just back from my weekend stay at the Dogfish Head Inn in Lewes, Deleware. An excellent hotel in a lovely little seaside town. Even the soap in the bathroom has IPA in it's making! All good fun. On the way home we stopped at the brewery and tasting room in Milton. Excellent, a must for beer...

Stone are really expanding out. That is quite a project. Just contemplating a choice of Stones IPA or Libert Ale, San Francisco - the new United Terminal at SFO has some great craft beers. It's a rather pleasant airport experience. UTC (up the craft)

I'm in a hot and rather dry Sacramento today, so already thinking of this evenings California beer choices. As I'll be on the train heading towards the Bay Area during the evening I will avail myself to the cafe cars selection of 22 oz 'bomber' bottles of Lagunita's IPA and everyones favorite...

Dogfish Head are at in again. Not content with great beer, the craft beer 'party' bus, they are opening up the Dodfish Inn, in their home State of Delaware, in Lewes, quite close to the brewery. http://www.dogfishinn.com/home I've just booked a weekend in August for family Chavez. Should be...

    San Francisco any tips please

Just heading out of the Bay Area on the train to Sacramento - skirting the edge of Napa. Which reminded me of this thread, and what a delight Napa and Samona are. Well worth the drive, the new Bay Bridge is pretty spectacular as an alternative to the Golden Gate.

    Steaks (beef)

You well know the answer to that! If nothing suitable for a man of class and taste, would suggest a good solid Cote de Rhone.
