    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

I can only seem to buy an extra ticket once - what did you do ? Ta.

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

And did you do that online, or over the phone/in person ? And, if online, were you logged on with that Bronze fan number, or another fan number ? Ta.

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

I have had some success with this even though the system is still locked. The agent was able to reserve the target seats for me, so that they can't be bought by anybody else, and I'm to phone back on Monday to complete the actual purchase.

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

When did you buy the bronze membership ? It maybe that there is a block for 14 days after you bought it. Otherwise, it's what Bozza said.

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

We shall see. Last season I was told over the phone that the restriction was purposely introduced because some fans were getting 'confused' that they couldn't buy tickets for themselves !

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

Wasn't meant to convey het upness ! Was thinking out loud as to why the club might reasonably want to do this. I thought of one : if you buy a ticket over the phone then maybe the club still ensure the ticket is e-mailed, or posted, to the F&F rather than sending it to the (non-eligible)...

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

What reasons might be good ones for blocking the scenario ?

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

Indeed, and this is what I've asked the club, and will let you know tomorrow when they send me a reply ignoring my point in 28 paragraphs. Another valid situation I would argue is if an eligible F&F simply can't be in front of a PC when tickets go on sale, or might be internet-averse (maybe an...

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

Not online, because the button would be faded out, but you would be able to do this over the phone or in the ticket office.

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

It's not the same. My YS+ son has a Man City ticket in the bag , and so he's no longer eligible to buy a ticket (you can't buy two) yet can still see the seats (which is correct because he may wish to buy for eligible F&Fs. I'm a STH, and so also already have a Man City ticket in the bag, yet...

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

Anybody (regardless of points status) should be able to buy tickets on behalf of their F&F, if those F&F are eligible for the match in question. But the site blocks this. For example, at the moment I can't buy tickets for eligible Bronze/YS+ members unless I use their account log on, which of...

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

This is a nonsense restriction the club have put in place, and doesn't treat STHs in the same way as Bronze/YS+ members. Have fired off an email to them, wish me luck.

Wow, they did keep that quiet.

    Queue It

It's not working, so there doesn't appear to be any automatic entitlement as soon as membership is bought.

That's positive. And was one of the tickets assigned to the Bronze member whose membership you bought the other day ?

    Man City Ticket binfest/availability

That's very interesting. So, if I bought seats for my kids, and those seats were not next to my seaso seat, the club will allow me to move my seat for that game ?

    Queue It

You can prove it now by seeing if it allows you to buy a West Brom/Newcastle ticket.
