Cracking day again after the celebrations at Faversham and continued in the clubhouse. Just about spotted myself in a couple of photos.
Managed to get a photo with the trophy and another with a players medal, going to tell the grandkids I won the league :D
I see the cocktail bar the chairman...
Making the trip to East Grinstead to watch Hastings, will be heading straight from work so if you spot a random postman in the crowd, that could well be me
Literally just saw this photo on Facebook, thought I was going mad for sec!
It was a glorious day weren't it. I may have slightly misjudged the temp going out in my shorts
Hoping I can get work done in good time next week and make the trip to East Grinstead...
I reckon it'll be another scappy win for Hastings, Three Bridges are third in the form table having recently beaten Cray, Haywards Heath and thrashed Ashford, they're a physical side too.
Football in the sun, don't get much better than that!
I'm not pulling my hair out just yet as like the majority of Hastings fans I would've preferred us to redevelop the Pilot Field if possible.
As someone who plays ESFL football I'm gutted as this town is crying out for a decent full sized 3g/4g pitch, look at the facilities in Eastbourne compared...
I was stood to the left of the green advertising hoarding behind that goal. I think that first half was the best I've seen the side play this season.
Unfortunately can't get to Cray this weekend as I'm working in the morning, thinking of going to either Bexhill/Sidley/Hollington...
Never thought to look for BHA stuff on Etsy for some reason, I bought some "Star Wars" prints on there last year.
Just browsing through and have just realised where my wife got my BHA beer mats Christmas present from!
Watched Hastings beat Phoenix Sports yesterday, was a poor game up until Phoenix taking the lead, which woke Hastings up big time who dominated until the final whistle, scoring three in the process.
A crowd of 734 in those conditions at that level is bloody impressive, the missus got home from...
Keeper was fantastic, the Lancing keeper on New Years Day also had a cracking game, including a saved penalty, but fortunately on this occasion Hastings nicked the win.
Learnt after the game the keeper is on loan from the Albion and also from Hastings, Tommy Reid, for such a young lad, he took...
Not long before I have a stroll to the Pilot Field, Hastings are top of the table and top of the form table, Burgess Hill are second in the form table... going to be a tough one!
Attendance was 189 according the SCFL fulltime site, more than what most games got in the Isthmian South East. A colleagues son plays for Little Common, so have watched them a few times the past couple of seasons when not watching Hastings/Albion.
Former Hastings man Russell Eldridge still has...
As I was unable to get to Whitstable in time to watch Hastings, I watched Little Common play their first league game back at the Rec.
Common enjoyed most of the possession but seemed to lack ideas going forward, ended up 2-2.
Crossed the border into Kent to watch Hastings United beat Hythe 3-0.
A crap first half but went into HT 1-0 courtesy of a penalty, second half they grew into the game and two goals in quick succession sealed the game. I'd say over the 90 minutes a draw would've been a fair result, but possibly...
