Well, the car crash that has trashed the exchange rate has probably put paid to our plan to buy a property abroad and hibernate there until we get a sensible set of politicians back in Blighty……
First world problem I appreciate.
I (almost) miss BoJo, by comparison. At least some of his...
Very left field answer but I don’t detect any evidence that that has happened with Brighton over his three year tenure with us, quite the reverse in fact given our recent performances over the past season and a bit!
So I suggest that the analysis is wrong….
Very few managers, in my view, adapt...
We were always going to lose Potter sooner rather than later.
Would far rather we lost him when fourth in the table and a third of the way towards PL safety than at the other end of the table which we have been for most of our tenure in the Premier League.
Am still stunned at what Potter has...
Have a cold shower each morning!
I do it as I understand it boosts the immune system (have some medical issues) and it certainly helps you resist the cold better.
Once you get used to it it’s actually quite refreshing too…….

Would only happen if NATO decided to put its troops into Ukraine which is highly unlikely.
What do you think our (relatively) modest army could achieve against almost unlimited manpower from Russia other than potentially provoke WWIII!?

Solly is frustrating because he does (occasionally) look like a world beater who could be a game changer for us but, after many seasons with us, we need to accept that he’s a very good, reliable player who rarely makes mistakes in his defensive duties and makes a strong contribution to linking...
I agree that’s it’s better than the concourses but my experience over the past three seasons is that service is never great just marginally worse early on.
Not blaming the staff. Just think there are too many people to manage a quality service.
Could be improved with better management though...
Don’t seem to have that one!
I thought the email referred to on this thread was one direct from 1901 club in response to a query from a fan?
Anyway, it didn’t impact on my comfort levels though I note that collared shirts are now not required at all either in the dress code.
Hardly a big deal...
I seem to have been the only person in the Sun Harvest yesterday who was wearing the “correct” attire though, given the strength of the sun and the extreme heat, I wasn’t that unhappy to be wearing long trousers.
Felt more like 40/50c in East stand lower than 30c too.
Really think the club...
You have to put this in the context of a short, possibly very short, career. Most people can expect 30/40 years of earning, though obviously at a much lower wage than top flight footballers.
These guys will be lucky to have much more than 5 years of earning top dollar and, if you really want to...
Sure hope the latest Tory members poll is an aberration! They seem to have been all over the place since the start of this contest.
Makes you wonder what they’re smoking? Why on earth would they want the self-styled “continuity” candidate?
Are they really stupid enough to want another 2+ years...
I find it hard to believe that stamp duty has more than a very limited impact on peoples decisions to buy a house.
It’s a relatively small percentage of the cost of a house……….
Second homes are a different issue though I think the practical difficulties might make it quite difficult to...
You should be a politician with that soundbite!?
What loopholes did you have in mind and what should companies be paying?
Governments set tax breaks (aka loopholes) and can remove them. It’s a global problem as all countries compete to attract investment by playing with the tax regime.

This is our two, Ruby and Clyde.
We originally had Clyde’s sister (called Bonnie, naturally!) but she was killed by a neighbour’s dog so, after some soul searching, we got a rag doll cat, called Ruby, to fill the gap.
As you can see, it worked out well…

Haven’t been through the whole thread but I’d really like to hear from a trans person (born male but now identifying as a woman, with or without the surgery) what their definition of being a woman is?
Without a definition of some sort how do they “know” they’re a woman? I get that they might...
How true. Pretty much the way that the algorithms on social media work to reinforce users’ views (prejudices?) and corral them into appropriate echo chambers!
On a different note, I find it quite amusing that so many MPs seem to feel that the new leader must be a committed Brexiteer.
Thought...
