Reminds me of when my sister was young. Listening to the pools results and hearing Rovers and City, she innocently piped up...."Are there two bristols?".
Well that was weird. I listened on the radio, and thought " we're playing better today ". Jumped around when the winner went in, and then came on here to find it was all sh1t after all.
It's a meh from me. Some good bits and some terrible bits. Overall though, it's exactly what I expected at the start of the season. A new manager and lots of new to the P/L players was bound to lead to inconsistencies. Optimistic about next season though.
They're probably not the ones where maximum profit comes from, although the figures you quoted are not outrageously unachievable. There might be others in the pipeline, Yalcouye for example, or even Facu, Julio or Ayari should still make a very decent profit when the time comes.
I see that recruitment was mentioned earlier. I think it's important to remember that we have to makes lots of money to be able to fulfill anyone's ambitions. We don't have 80,000 coming through the door every week, or millions of worldwide fans to buy shirts. We don't have, and cant...
Palace were toilet when Wharton or Eze were missing. Brentford were pretty much full strength yesterday. Forest were full strength when we got thrashed. People saying injuries are not an excuse don't seem to understand the benefits of a settled team, either within a match, or in the...
Why weren't the others instructed to defend as high as Dunk in that case? Your argument doesn't make sense if you think that Dunk was acting under instructions and the others weren't.
I'm pretty optimistic about Weiffer, Gomez, O'Riley and Kadioglu. Think they will be great. Rutter has already proved his worth.
Gruda has shown glimpses, so I'm hopeful about him in the longer term. Minteh could go either way I feel.
Maybe not Webster specifically, but a half decent CB with even a slight bit of pace. It was noticeable how we improved all over the pitch once that issue is sorted. I think (pray) that it will be sorted in the summer and we will kick on, probably with Fab in charge.
ALL of our problems are with the defence. Too slow to defend, too slow to start attacks. If we don't seriously address this in the summer then we are going nowhere, whoever is in charge.
