#bhafc fans will be welcomed to drink at The Sir Percy Shelley Florence pub, Mello Mello bar and Shark bites bar all 10 mins walk from #afcb
The Wetherspoons pub (Sir Percy Shelley Florence) on Christchurch Road in Boscombe welcomes away fans - about a 10-15min walk from the ground.
Those of you on Twitter may want to follow @DorPolFootball for pub and parking info.
I wasn't there yesterday, so I can't comment about the decisions over the game as a whole, and whether the ref "appeared to favour us", But I have seen other Brighton posters comment that there was a stonewall penalty we didn't get, in addition to a clear handball against a Brighton player not...
Just seen it on SSN.
From the angle the referee had, I can totally understand why he gave it. The fact that the ball didnt change direction as Calderon touched it was the killer for the ref who was more or less behind it.
I've also seen a still in the Bournemouth Echo which shows Calderon...
Eddie Howe commented words to the effect of "that apart from getting the penalty decision wrong, the ref had a decent game as he normally does when he has our games" in his interview after the game.
Just got a decision wrong today, as human beings are liable to do.
Sounds like we got lucky with a ref's call for once. Cant remember us getting a dodgy penalty since that game at the Withdean.
Brighton on top now by sound of things
Rain radar looking very wet for the next couple of hours or so at the Amex.
Accumulation maps suggests up to half an inch of rain has fallen in last few hours.
You look to have a strong side out.. think we might have our work cut out!
We are in decent form away from home, picked up good points at Forest and Burnley, and won our last 2 away. Will be interesting to see how this one turns out.
On another note.. have you guys had any postponements due to waterlogged pitch since the Amex opened? Wednesday looks set to be very wet...
You made a bit of noise from time to time, but didnt think you were particularly loud, but then I was sat in the far end among the home fans with the drum going.
It's wrong. Football is an emotional and passionate game and it's time this rule was dropped. AS a poster above says, subject to not inciting the opposing fans etc.
You have my sympathies with getting out, it can be a bloody nightmare and I usually advise away fans to find some nearby street parking. might be 5-10 mins walk but at least getting away is easy.
Us.. kick and rush?
As the poster above says, we do that after each game - we have a great team...
Cos we lurk here from time to time :-)
Good game today, quite tight and in the end we had that little bit of quality today (as you did with Lua Lua at the Withdean) to get the goal. Only difference is that you didn't get the outrageous bit of luck that we got to force a draw, though with Keith...
Quinn was sacked on New Years Eve, thank god.
One of the worst games ever, and Quinn just stood at the back of the dugout, arms folded, doing nothing to gee the side up or to try and change things.
I walked out of the staduim after that game convinced we were staring relegation and probable...
