Downstairs if you didnt sit at the benches you had to stand at the back and side which is no problem, view was fine but you then blocked the bar and people walking from one side to the other so pretty poorly designed, also no sound, didnt realise there was commentary until went to the toilet...
Hung around for a long while after, my son wanted to look in the Terrace, not too bad and could reach the counters easily but a long queue trying to get upstairs, didn’t get that.
When I had a season ticket in the North Stand there was a guy in front of me who would turn up late as drinking with his mates, go back down on 35/40 minutes then reappear around the 50 minute mark then tear into anyone that left early, he didn’t really get it. My son today wanted to leave on 88...
Nobody ever seems to criticise the people that disappear 10 minutes before half time then reappear 10 minutes into the second half, they are even worse as haven’t gone to get trains etc
Might be easier getting away after the game with less fans and being a Saturday especially as there might be lots of West Ham fans celebrating after the final whistle.
Not just a couple is it, I put on another thread I have taken the whole family to a number of games where it has been easy to get 4 tickets together if you are not members, Wolves, Forest etc and they haven’t seen a win yet.
