Born in Essex, moved to Haywards Heath aged 3 and lived there until 20.
Taken to first game around 1982 for a 8/9th birthday treat, and then started watching them religiously with a few friends from Oathall School from 86/87 season.
P.S. Everyone male in my family hates football!! Rugby...
I wasn't there yesterday, but I'd ALWAYS clap him for what he did whilst playing for us......and the fact alone that he was a Brighton player whilst playing a key role in winning the actual, sodding World Cup ;) :rave:
I'm sorry if this is an arsey comment, but I'm annoyed we got nothing from today's game after leading.......but how can we miss something that we never/rarely have?
Milner has been a sicknote with us more or less from day one, and apart from Spurs at home last season has been a complete waste...
The annoying thing was that it WAS there in the Wolves match.....and then he got injured :(
and ever since, like Lamptey, he's not been the same player and tries too hard to do things on his own.
The skill to set up the goal vs Crawley was amazing, but he's not going to get solid game time on...
That's as it made me, but I remember saying to one of my closest friends (Forest season-ticket holder) that true to form Forest played down here with everyone behind the ball and then quickly broke. I hate that type of football and I'll be amazed if they stay in the top 10/12 by the end of the...
I must have sung that song 100s of times over the years and ONLY just found out literally just now that those were the words!!! :) :rave:
I thought it was Brighton and Hove Albion away away away ..............etc etc !
Got friends who are Hull City fans.
About 25 years ago ish, around the time of the Foot and Mouth crisis funnily enough, I went with them to Carlisle for an end of season piss up.
After the game, Carlisle fans poured onto the pitch for a scrap with Hull. Punches were thrown, and there was one...
I was there in the North Stand as ever, left of the goal halfway up.
We always stood right in front of a barrier, so we knew we would never be bundled from behind but could instigate a goal-scoring bundle going down the terrace!! Happy days :) :rave: :) :rave:
Then the others must be seriously sh1t in training, as Dunk's freekicks in the game have generally been HOPELESS.
One grazed the bar I think last season and that has been it. Knuckle-ball bollocks, just let Danny curl one in
I think if we score first, score early, we win. It will open up the pitch as they'll have to come out to score a goal. And I'm confident if we score first, we'll score another at some stage of the match.
But, as everyone on here knows, we ain't so hot against teams that play predominantly 'on...
It's amazing how two people can see the same thing, but so differently!
Although not in the 'Ginger Ninja, How Big Are Your Muscles? I drive a Range Rover' Dwayne of old (for all you younger viewers!) camp that can't stand Hinshelwood, I was pleased when he was taken off and replaced for Ferdi...
