Just read this , a month ago, whilst travelling in Australia. Enjoyed it a lot, and a great accompaniment to my trips to some of the places described.

I very rarely do not finish a book, but this was one I just got very very tired of.... Basically, mad old man does something mad, and is rescued by his sidekick.... every four pages or so....rinse and repeat until the reader puts the book down and never picks it up again.

It's been interesting to see that even Fox has been reporting his low approval ratings for absolutely everything. So.... my prediction is that these will be his next steps: 1) Lash out at everybody responsible for the "fake" polls. (He has already started doing this.) 2) Manufacture a "war" or...

Well.... I was muttering that we had thrown this game away , and bemoaning "just 2 points from the last 18 available" ....as the move for the equaliser was taking place. That is reality , with 88 minutes on the clock. But this was all whilst sitting in my seat , hoping.....

I was at the Collingwood v Port Adelaide game..... my first Aussie Footy match. Really enjoyed it .... perhaps a tighter game would have held more peril in the second half, but it was a great experience. Im a Collingwood fan - Go Pies!

I really dont mind Leeds. And Im 61, so go back to the Revie era. I quite liked the fact that they challenged the smug elite back then - Man Utd, Liverpool etc. I just never ever got the hate - I dont particularly like Burnley, with their small town racism.. funny how they were on Jay Rodrigues...
