    [Albion] Evan Ferguson

Danny is much quicker with his feet IMO and obviously more experienced.

    [Albion] Evan Ferguson

I like Evan, but his strengths are more Glen Murray than Bobby Z... He likes receiving the ball to lay off, turn his man and shoot or sniff around in the penalty area. What he isn't going to do is beat a man on a quick break, or jink past his man on a silky run. Sadly, I don't see how our style...

[Albion] Newcastle United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

We’re very, very lucky not to be significantly behind. Absolute smash and grab. What worries me is that we look tactically clueless in the middle of the park. I just don’t get why we constantly want to hang onto the ball and dribble past everyone. Kadioglu, Ferguson and Hinshelwood look lost...

    [Misc] Pro Plus (caffeine)

I used to work in theatre and events and often we'd have to work 48+ hours straight. The trick was to take 1 an hour, every hour through the night(s). Kept me awake and full of energy. Absolutely screwed my stomach up and not a chance in hell I'd ever touch them again.

[Albion] We look such a poorly coached team

Under RDZ we seemed to have heavily drilled positional play, especially through midfield that created lots of passing triangles that were very easy on the eye. RZB wanted us to draw the press and play late passes (often through the eye of a needle). It's why Caicedo and Ali Mac did so well...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur *** Official Match Thread ***

I don’t understand why we keep trying to run the ball. Surely this system should be about short 1 touch passes. All I see is our midfield constantly trying to turn their man and run past them. Would be interested to see if the ‘drivble with ball’ stats match my opinion. Would assume the ‘runs...

    [Travel] Would you do Jordan?

The scuba diving off the west coast of KSA is supposed to be exceptional and there are a few scuba schools on the Gulf of Aqaba (bang opposite Sharm El Sheikh). The other advantage of scuba trips is that you can't hear your misses moan when 20metres under water... If you've not been to Jeddah...

    [Albion] Noel Bigo Atom. SIGNED

If you look at it positively, he's got the nucleus of a good joke.

    [Travel] Would you do Jordan?

If you're in KSA then definitely head to AlUla... It's just as stunning as Petra and has much fewer tourists (for now). The following are pretty good for trips out of KSA: Jordan is lovely and the people are some of my favourite in the middle-east. Oman is worth a visit, especially Salalah in...

[Help] Legal advice over unpaid bill and its effects on credit rating

I had a not dissimilar issue about 20 years ago, albeit with a housemate, not a partner. I wrote to Experien and from memory they put a note on my credit rating explaining the black-mark. I've no clue whether the same can be done these days though.

Danny Cashman - our best prospect!

Why is there an advertising hoarding with Arsenal on it?! Do bigger clubs sponsor smaller clubs these days?

[Albion] Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion *** SCORE PREDICTOR THREAD ***

Head says we'll get beaten by a better team. However if (and it's a big IF) Arteta hasn't worked out FH's system (it's early season after all) and our boys 'click' then I think we might surprise them...

    [Albion] Experienced player

Am I making it up, or towards the end of last season, didn’t someone suggest we were signing another experienced player this year? What happened to that? Or was it a play on words and they actually meant Tomer Hemed?

    [NSC] Newbie saying hello.

Would be nice to see some fans out here other than Rangers, Newcastle and Manure… The upside is that we get live games and don’t have to faff with streams. Also got to play paddle tennis with BZ a couple of years ago. Top bloke.

    [NSC] Newbie saying hello.

Thanks for the welcome everyone :). Just came back to this and was expecting this thread to be on page 5 already! :) First game was Eastbourne Utd at the Goldstone in about 86 (ish)... Not exactly a bundle of fun for a young 9 year old on a wet school night! Sadly it wasn't until the Withdean...

    [NSC] Newbie saying hello.

Thought I better say hello as I’ve just signed up, and not entirely sure what to say as a first post! Very long time lurker here, (since around 2000). I miss the days of Safeway, Hiney, Edna and co. Bozza, thanks for the hard work over the years in keeping this site running. I’ve always...
