Adingra and Verbruggen possibly but Estupinan was on the decline way before FH arrived and Dunky can’t go on forever.
The other side to this coin of course is those that have come on leaps and bounds… Hinsh, Ayari, JPVH, Igor and arguable Webster to name a few.
I really enjoyed today’s game. Thought there were a lot of good performances out there.
Felt a little sorry for Mats after some poor defending allowed them to equalise but he gets a pass given it’s not a comfortable position for him.
Sadly, and I’ve been saying it for a while, Pervis is now a...
And there lays a potentially massive issue… If most people also think FH doesn’t have the oomph to give the squad a kick up the backside when needed, what do the players think?
My hope is that the squad is still motivated enough within, given we still have all to play for.
With some good lads due back from loan, a few of the key injuries clearing up and a few decent acquisitions at the back, I genuinely think we will be well placed to have a go at Europe again.
This current slump needs addressing though first, although I have voted positively in the poll. I’m...
With 5 games still left to play and us only being 1 point off of European football again next season, do we have the mental focus to get ourselves up for this final few games or are the boys already in too much of a slump to push on?
With so much still to play for, the next result could define...
Imho Lewis is being asked to play so much higher than he is comfortable with. He knows his limits and what he is good at. Foot races isn’t at the top of this list.
Yes, he scored 2 own goals today but at least he was there trying to block these shots.
He may be done in a FH line up but if we...
I’m on the fence for now.
i do see some hope but FH has to learn his lessons quickly. I thought he had post Forest thrashing when we dropped off and played solid first, flair second but the last 4 games we have gone back to the old ways.
If TB is to stick with the young fella, he is going to...
I’m personally on the Meh fence. It’s been really up and down this season… Some real moments of quality and good football but in equal measures, we’ve seen some real tripe too.
I wonder with the benefit of hindsight (a wonderful thing) if we may have been wiser to buy a few less but more tested...
I didn’t boo. Never have and never will.
Thats not to say I was satisfied in any shape or form with Saturdays performance though.
Things may have been very different had one of those players with a golden opportunity been able to hit a barn door.
Lewis may not be at the levels he once reached, and yes he had a poor game v Leicester but for me, he still has it in him to be really good backup to a starting pair.
For what it’s worth, I think TB will be a little unhappy with his big spend last summer. None of them are awful, and all have potential but aside from Georgi and the odd highlight from Minteh, i think he might be a little underwhelmed with their showings thus far.
FH is very up and down and so...
