Well have managed the first two months of 2013 without a drink, and to be honest it has been a lot easier than I thought it would be.
Think the summer will be much more challenging though, with BBQ's and lazy days sitting in pub gardens ahead of me.
Still so far so good
Have updated my weight loss blog with some progress pics and stats.
Might be worth a read if you are lacking inspiration (although I am not sure quite how inspirational my blog actually is) ???
Anyway if you are interested take a look

Interesting articles, but none of them make a direct correlation between safe standing and the increase in violence as far as I can see (though admittedly I did just scan them). In fact most of them say that the violence has been on the rise for the past 12 years, and one even states the way...
I wasn't aware of that no.
So this increase in violence and arrests can be directly attributed to the standing in crowds can it?
Cause I regularly stand at the Amex and have not noticed myself become any more violent, and I certainly haven't been arrested.
Dreadful indeed.
The line about poor behaviour becoming undetected is just bizarre. What sort of poor behaviour are they expecting exactly? And how is it easier to detect this if people are sitting down rather than standing up?
I can only imagine what NSC will be like if that happens.
I seriously reckon that the amount some people go on about Glenn Murray then are genuinely obsessed with him. I can imagine these people hanging around outside his house just to get a glimpse of him. Sending him anonymous letters...
Bloody Hell.
Glenn f***ing Murray.
All you Murray lovers should get together and jointly piss off and support Palace, then when he leaves there support whoever he goes to.
AND STOP POSTING ABOUT HIM ON HERE!!!!
I suggested something similar to this earlier in the thread and was branded a "rebel" and told I need to "grow up".
Free thinking like this is not encouraged on NSC.
You must conform!
There isn't random standing you plonker.
People stand in groups, in the North.
Have you even been in the North stand, or to the Amex at all?
:banghead:
I sit down.
There is a relatively old boy behind me and he does sit for parts of games. I sit down and keep out of his way as I respect his right to watch the game just like my right. Plus he has been supporting the Albion a lot longer than I have and kudos to him.
This all being said 90% of...
Absolutely agree with you mate.
Where is the harm in letting a minority of fans in the North stand, and it is a minority. Behind the goal at the back. I haven't seen.anybody get badly injured from this so far. The 'safety' arguement is a load of old shit.
