Never seen so many attempts at picking fights with stewards, to be fair to them to they weren’t backing down. Some nice pushing and shoving all round
Also never seen home and away fans in the same toilets pre match, that was a bizarre moment
Despite leaving Millmoor in 2008, it’s actually still (mostly) there. Had to get a slow train to Sheffield last season that went right past it. Spent my journey home watching urban explorer type videos about it, which weren’t that interesting to be honest. So there you go.
It’s not pedantry, you’re just talking about a completely different part of the game, where Ings did hit the post and Ryan didn’t get a touch. Was followed up by Dunk clearing off the line. This is where vestegaard hit a shot that ryan tipped onto the bar.
Amusingly he started the FA Cup game away against West Ham. Imagine he lurks around the bars of Ireland talking about how he once marked against Carlos Tevez in the FA Cup.
Having done further research, I never knew that Mark Noble scored his first goal that day. And had completely forgotten...
Times reporting that he had complained in recent days of essentially starving and making threats to staff because they were serving things like spaghetti hoops and macaroni cheese on a daily basis, which was outside what his culture allowed him to eat. They’d had their monetary allowance taken...
I'm assuming he has a base salary, which is fixed. He then earns sales based commission on top which is variable. His total earnings are variable, but there is a fixed element in there, his salary. It is most likely only the salary element that is eligible for 80%, not the variable commission...
My mate is a confirmed case (in a country where they test widely, but he caught it over here). He had that in a major way on Day 1. Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s linked or that you have it, but thought it worth sharing.
I think I read a few days ago that that is exactly what we should expect. I think the vague estimate was 12 months of some sort of restrictions, with around 6 months (on and off) of our current state, with 6 months where just those with symptoms etc self-isolate.
Thanks, the first one links through to Sunak’s transcript which does say it very clearly.
Gives a lifeline for at least 3 months. My businesses are facing such a black hole as a result of all this, we will have to lay off once the support ends, but hopefully at that point the market is moving...
They have to be not working, effectively furloughed. How they will ever track that I have no idea.
Question I’m still not clear on is if employers are expected to top up the portion of wages the government aren’t covering.
There is a rowdy house party a few doors down from me, in London. Have had to restrain myself a few times from going over. I have no words. What is 20 of you singing along to Shania Twain in the garden really worth to you, absolutely infuriating.
