The league table is starting to reflect the spending/budget table now. Villa have spent massively (at least on wages) and should be creeping up the table.
The only exception is Everton and they are pretty much a rudderless ship at the moment.
What annoys me with Pogba is that there is such a big difference between his best and his worst he clearly has games when he can’t be bothered. I enjoy watching Roy Keane’s punditry when Pogba plays. He clearly can’t stand him and does a bad job hiding it.
Dog did well at agility 1-0.
Daughter left bag of dog poo at agility hall and I had to drive back and pick it up 1-1
In-laws offered me their tv subscription so I could watch the game. 2-1.
Watched the game 2-2
Cleaned the inside of the car and got appreciation from Mrs D 3-2.
Daughters agreed...
He invited it by letting a lot of off the ball incidents go in the first 10 minutes.
He got wise to it eventually and gave some cards. Particularly pleased that he punished Mings for running the length of the pitch to have words with cucu.
It was at least a bad start he had.
This. My eyes hurt when I watch them play but you can’t help admire their work rate. They’re a limited team but they fight for every ball. I admire also the work Dyche does, it’s just a shame he acts the way he does on the touch line.
Funny five minutes lost it for us. Otherwise a close game with mistakes being made under pressure on both sides.
We were a bit unlucky with some chances; Moder against the bar and a quality save from De Gea in the first half. When you don’t take those chances there’s every danger they’ll find a...
Thank f that performance came in the cup.
We played that like a preseason friendly.
Worst for a long time which is both a good and bad thing.
I expect the team to be on it again v Watford. It was interesting to see Caicedo come on. Hope to see more of him as he looked nervous and played a...
For me it was between Veltman and Gross.
To get a player of Veltman’s quality for under a million is ludicrous.
Yet the pleasure of sitting on my sofa saying ‘he’s going to turn you’ to the defender naively getting too close to Pascal (and it happening again and again and again) never fades...
Seven points from the last three games in a tight schedule is magnificent. Sod the FA cup. Play the boys and give the lads a two week break from playing. They’ve run non stop for 270 minutes.
My vote went to Sanchez because of the market in his position. You don’t get much top class keeper to the pound these days. Kepa and Mendy at Chelsea (RS is better than both), Becker and Edison at Liverpool and city respectively are 70- 80 million pound keepers and he’s not far off that level...
Don’t be naive Icy. Anyone achieving success is too good for a small club like ours. We have no right to be fluking our way up the Premier League…..
and the Women’s Premier League…..
and the U23 Premier League……
and the U18 Premier League.
He may be good enough for Man Utd, but are the Man Utd hierarchy good enough for Graham Potter? There’s not a huge amount of direction at that club at the moment.
I’d like to think Potter knows the value of a stable job and realistic expectations (NSC not included :lolol:) .
Not sure he’d...
