Since the end of WWII when the two clubs play in the same division (ie. a level playing field) Albion have a larger average home attendance than Palace. This year we will have a bigger average home attendance than Palace while playing in a lower league - impressive don't you think?

Our first season in the Championship , plus the bonus of showing the Amex and Gus, meant we had massive coverage on the FLS. Last season was the same - this season we are mid table No Gus so no show until about 12.30 am.
I think he has just got his words muddled up again - what he meant to type was " at the moment we could field a team that would have a good shot at winning the League Two Championship"

"Im afraid this is the worst Palace team in my 40 years as a season ticket holder for the division we are in. The task was always going to very difficult but the squad that Holloway and Parish have cobbled together shows woeful incompetence and is an embarrassment"
Did we not tell them this ? -...
It was a goal - I had a perfect view of it right behind the lino. In fact just seconds before it happened I was talking to the lino and I had asked him what he thought the official attendance was as opposed to the actual attendance - he turned round to answer me and then................
It certainly isn't - apart from Millwall all the visiting attendance is down this season yet ours is growing.
Will be interesting to see if Barnsley can beat their figure of 297 (on a Saturday) last season when they visit midweek :facepalm:
Last nights well deserved 1-1 draw with Watford means that in our first 3 seasons at the Amazing Amex (or Wonky Warehouse) the first 7 league games have produced the following results -
2011/12 - W2 D3 L2
2012/13 - W2 D3 L2
2013/14 - W2 D3 L2
:eek::eek::eek:
So all those slating the team &...
Neither Bruno or Calderon are good enough in that full back position - neither of them can head the ball and neither of them stop crosses coming in , both lack pace. Both are far better attacking than defending - it's a position we need to strengthen.
As someone who ACTUALLY went and sits opposite the East with a perfect view of it I can tell you that I was surprised at how full it was. Even the end section near the Watford supporters was nearly full - excellent effort from the Albion faithful last night. 25k easily.
