I've wondered this all season. I simply could never understand why we have never sung FHs name. He started amazingly well - a 4-1 away win for goodness sake and he came over and acknowledged the fans but nothing. We've rarely been out of the top 10 and during good wins home and away a chant has...
I have (and yesterday was the final straw) but, in spite of everything, if out of the blue we suddenly get a lucky win to boost confidence and get a couple of players back we can still quite easily get eighth which is ridiculous given how awful we have been since the international break.
The downs have been pretty bad this season, the highs have been OK but, like early Potter, this side to side football is my least favourite - I find it soul destroying. We make a simple game incredibly complicated.
He didn't look too amused today, slumped back into his seat making notes (edit - he was writing stuff down, I've no idea if he was making notes) after each goal conceded. I'm also pleased to report he went mental at the ref when he had let another few Brentford fouls go before penalising us...
If i could be bothered to go back to the next manager threads at the time then yep, it was close to unanimous excitement at the appointment and, if memory serves, he was by a mile the most popular of the options - of course there were some who weren't so keen. As I can't be bothered we'll just...
Pretty much the entire football world has been banging on all season that we've done it again and found another gem. Now, to be fair I've never been convinced but let's not rewrite history.
Yep, if fans are patient he really is going to be a good player but they won't be. If he gets a run of games and plays in his correct position he'll be fine.
You ARE forced to watch the women. That's what the stewards are there for. Take your eyes off the game for more than 10 seconds and you lose 50 loyalty points. And NO refunds.
Was about to say the same thing. No one pretends the evening train service is great but squeezing onto a very crowded train is pretty much done after a game at every ground worldwide where trains are used and on hundreds of rush hour trains every single day. I'm afraid thats never going to...
I'm normally in the camp of "it's annoying but that's the deal with taking tv money" but not only is this announcement late it's also a total kick in the teeth for both Albion and Liverpool fans and will ruin attendance and atmosphere.
Why isn't it realistic? Have a look - it's very clearly not a foul. "Go to the monitor, we'll double check the offside whilst you get there just in case you still think it's a foul." Job done.
