While I do think £24 is a fair whack, for those living outside of Brighton and travelling to the matches by train, that figure also includes a retun journey so for me actually works out as a good deal.
I have been to watch Crawley a few times too and they charge £16 to sit, for conference...
" Now here is an interesting question. Would you wear a Villa shirt or scarf in order to gain entry to the home end at Villa park? "
The answer is NO. And I'm afraid nor would I even go to the match if I had to sit with the home fans. That's easy for me to say as i have my ticket, but can't...
I had an e-mail from Rowan at the ticket office timed at half eight last night. How they manage to continue to be so polite and helpful is beyond me, I would have been tearing my hair out by now.
They really do deserve a lot of credit.
Kevo, no confirmation e-mail for me as yet either. However, I checked my purchase history and the tickets are showing in there. I've done screen shot just in case as proof!
Same here, went back in after refereshing the page 1,000 times and just booked two tickets, confirmed. Good thing as I checked my booking history and the ones from earlier hadn't gone through!
Finally got logged in after getting server busy message. Went to purchase two tickets and while processing the payment, the page crasshed saying there had been an error with my order but that my card may still have been charged and to contact the club.
I then went in again and tried to re-book...
As of yesterday afternoon, there had been ALMOST 4000 sold. That leaves around 2400 still available.
They will still be on sale tomorrow, and probably the day after.
Minnime, we won't be allowed to sit where we like, i'll bet my balls on it. They would be more likely to do this if there were plenty of unbooked seats available.
As it is likely to now be a 6,000 sell out, my guess is you will have to sit where your ticket tells you to sit, otherwise it will...
Hmmm, now don't get me wrong, I agree that Gold / Blue members should get first dibs, however, I'm not convinved by the clubs decision to allow people to purchase white membership specifically to allow them to attempt to book for Villa!
Surely they should give priority to those already on the...
I am a white member and will just have to wait and see if I can get a ticket on Wednesday. If I don't get a ticket, it's hard luck but not the end of the world. I certainly won't be sitting with the Villa fans!
I think it only fair that Gold members and Blue members have first dibs. If they are...
I would give the ticket office a call. I couldn't log in to book Torquay tickets, even though I had paid for my white membership. Called the ticket office and they were very helpfull in getting it activated for me and provoding me with my number.
