I watched that video and, inconclusive as it is, it seems to be a full-blown part of the upstairs. I guess we'll know more when a) @Bozza gets his answers from the club and b) on 1st April. Would be a bit daft if not everyone could see the live band, er, live
That was my thinking. Just sign up for the non-fee Amex card then just never use it, other than for an occasional foray onto the mezzanine to see the band and how the other half live. Tho doubtless the non-fee Amex card entry loophole will be closed sooner rather than later 😄
FBS was also reported to be an investor at the time. Pretty sure all of that is true. DK would clearly have been well aware and would have happily taken money from all-comers to ensure the club didn't fold. What DK couldn't have foreseen was the global financial crisis that - sod's law - hit...
Pretty clear that DK wanted to retain control after saving the club (in conjunction with MP and the community). They did the hard miles, year after thankless year. Must have been deeply galling for DK to be powerless to prevent TB swooping with his cheque book off the back of a global financial...
Don't the minutes actually say (item 9) that the doors will be shut at 11pm to keep noise levels down, rather than the fanzone itself shutting at 11pm?

The transport element was a necessary component of the planning application. Nowadays, of course, it's just written off as 'a historical requirement'
'one of the bar areas servicing supporters on the North Concourse will be renamed as the Dick’s Bar when the North Concourse is refurbished in the Summer of 2025'
