JFC in the final U21 squad for European Championship

Of course I have - and its not always correct to assume that footballers have less time on the ball in non league than in the league. Incidentally John Paul Kissock, a graduate of the Everton academy, played for Everton in Europe, was an England under 16 and under 18, and England C player...

JFC in the final U21 squad for European Championship

It's not clear at all. Have you seen both players play as I have? What is your assessment of their abilities? Or do you just judge players on the opinions of others?

JFC in the final U21 squad for European Championship

That's what baffles me too. In almost every respect someone like John Paul Kissock is a better player. He has a greater range of passing, more mobile, energetic, aggressive and skillfull than JFC. And he couldn't get into the Whitehawk side for the last few games.

JFC in the final U21 squad for European Championship

Definitely "incredible" in that I don't believe the hype around him. There are at least four of Whitehawks midfield from last season who were better. Baffling how he got into the England team.

Sussex Senior Cup Final - Lewes vs Whitehawk. Saturday 16th 15.00 Amex

I know it was only against Lewes, but I thought some of the one-touch football Whitehawk played today was some of the best Ive seen from any team at the Amex this season.

The Big Match at The Amex This Afternoon

There's no legal reason why you shouldnt take alcohol to the seat as both sides are below conference level. However they enforced a no drinking in seats rule at last year's senior cup final between Peacehaven and Bognor - it'll be interstesting to what they do this year.

Is this lack of goals a record

I Disagree completely. That season was the benchmark of awfulness. I think about it when various drama kings and queens on this site mutter about tearing up their season tickets because this is the worst Albion team ever etc etc.

    Gordon Greer

Agricultural ? - competely the opposite - its because he tries hard not to hoof it that sometimes, as with Bruno, and in the past Gary Dicker he gets unfairly criticised, in my view, for trying passes which dont always come off. I dont think hes the greatest ball playing centre back in the...

    Hooray Portsmouth lost at home

Maybe the real rivalry will emerge when Whitehawk, seemingly invevitably, climb the leagues. I noticed that Dick Knight was at yesterdays game against Weston-super-Mare for the second home game in succession. I also noticed Attila beer in hand alongside the Whitehawk "ultras". Ten man...

    JFC retains England U-21 place...

No he probably didnt - but when did he become a good player? Im still waiting. Having seen hime play a lot of games now, I am competely baffled as to how he became a regular for either Brighton or England. Hes not even the best midfielder Ive seen playing for our under 21 team, both Richards...

    The Wealden Line.

Where else did these passengers want to go apart from the main towns which the rail route served? My informal passenger survey, gleaned from my many, soemtimes very packed, journeys on this route from Brighton to Tunbridge Wells on the 28/29 bus incdicate that most people wnat to travel to...

Brian Clough wasn't that great for us.

    Monakana

I saw him play for Crawley at the back-end of last season. A bit like kaz very fast and direct. Although a bit like Kaz his delivery wasnt the best (Although I think Kaz's is improving). Well worth giving a go - if nothing else as an impact sub. I think, though we need a more Craig...

JFC - Please God make this the last time we have to watch him play in an Albion shirt...

When it comes to JFKs contribution to the team I admit to being completely clueless. Those that obviously no more than I, please enlighten me.

JFC - Please God make this the last time we have to watch him play in an Albion shirt...

Regency Gull, the criticism that Ashley Barnes received was totally unjustified. Although no Peter Ward, he was a commited and productive member of the team. I have yet to see the talent in JFK to which you refer. I am completely mystified as to why he has been picked for England. Yet, a...

    Darren Bent

I agree, it would have been nice to have kept Bent. He was better than what we have at the moment. I was just alluding to your comment that signing a player of his standard was beyond us. I was pointing out that we have already, in the recent past, had forwards, as good if not better than Bent.

    Darren Bent

I sincerely hope not. He didn't look anything particularly special to me. About as good as Ashley Barnes and not as good as Glenn Murray or Ulloa.

    Favourites Pubs of 2014

I'd back the usual suspects like the Lewes Arms, Selden Arms, and Basketmakers. But possibly the best pub in the world which I visited last year, is The Square and Compass in Worth Matravers, near Swanage. Cider and ale served through a hatch from barrels, owned by the same family since 1900...

****** The Official January Transfer Window Thread *******

Absolutely - seems ages since we had a midfielder of their quality, and I include Crofts here, who I dont think has quite the qualities of either. Dodge, I felt, was so underrated. But oh for another Horton, Sully, Wilson or Case.
