Served Garry Nelson at the Toby Carvery in Shoreham. Mobbed Mark Lawrenson (along with the rest of my cub pack) while he walked his dog in Buckingham Park.
Sat next to team coach driver at Wycombe away.
Stood behind Ian Baird and a few other first teamers in the queue for McDonald's at Clacket...
Isn't it more in our interest to appear as if we've got less particularly as we need to buy a replacement (or a replacement for the replacement)? Asking prices will be different if they think we have £55m burning our pocket rather than £20m.
Reminds me of our game at Spurs under Hughton in his last season. Set up to draw, attack v defence and we deservedly lost with an Ericksen goal in the last minute.
I mentioned this to a newer fan recently. That is the worst game of football I can remember - in terms of quality rather than result. It's hard to fathom the gulf across every aspect of the club between then and now.
I go to a lot of games on my own both home and away. One of the things I love about the Albion is that it feels like coming home. Generally end up chatting with folk I sit next to and it's friendly and relaxed.
I've written to the club to ask about that as I don't seem to be able to attach her member number to the ticket purchase site. If I get an answer I'll let you know.
Yep. I was in the South East and had to climb up the floodlights to see the game. It felt like I was about 50 ft up but thinking about it, I was probably about 3ft off the ground. Great day.
Went to a Phoenix Suns game a few years ago. Agree with @Driver8 - crazy prices for drinks and food. Be ready for noise, particularly in the breaks. Good fun.
I wasn't at the game but from the highlights it made me think he could be a new Baldock. His movement and build up play looks good - just maybe not a natural goalscorer.
I'm in Vegas for work at the moment and need somewhere to go to decompress before I come home but I think I'll drive Route 66 from there to Williams. I'll do a quick search of motels as see if I find anything that hints at Mancunian ownership - Thanks!
