The official Brighton and Hove tartan

Yes!!! Brighton & Hove Albion in 1934, Well socks really. Worn for a one-off game against Bolton Wanderers I believe. The game was sponsored by a local company that sold tartan, as a publicity stunt the Albion wore Tartan socks to advertise the company. The early years of commercialism in...

How much money would you miss the Bristol City game for?

He missed the Wigan game so he didn't even get to experience that. But this would be second best? I just don't want him to regret missing it in the future, I know I would, especially when he has the opportunity to attend. £100 is quite a bit of money to him, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't miss it.

How much money would you miss the Bristol City game for?

My mate's got a ticket but been offered £100 to do something else this day. I personally wouldn't miss potentially witnessing the Albion winning such a historic league and lifting such a prestigious trophy. We've been waiting 116 years for this right? I personally think he's barmy tbh! Hence...

How much money would you miss the Bristol City game for? Well? With the great possibility of the Albion winning the Football League and lifting the historic trophy for the first time in the clubs history this Saturday, how much money would waver you from attending Saturday's game?

It can certainly be "us" without being "them". Just because we're celebrating ourselves doesn't mean we're going against others. I actively encourage other counties/local communities to celebrate themselves. It doesn't mean they're doing it to be against outsiders. As for flying the Sussex...

If you go back to the early 20th Century and before, ones county/local identity would have been just as important as ones national identity. It's only since globalisation, national television and probably two world wars where the country had to pull together as one, the general culture in this...
