I now think that DB will be judge on what happens in the next 20 odd days. I've been inclined to back the club so far and I still do: get the best deals possible and the patience shown will be worth it in the long run. What is worrying me is that saturday was alot worse than I imagined, we...
Yep, I 've been up since 5. Everyone else is still asleep: don't know what to do with myself.
Have absolutely no idea what sort of performance we'll put in today but looking forward to it none the less.
Mitchell Dijks may leave Ajax and is directly interest arising from the UK. Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion would like to accept the Ajacied, but according to The Telegraph there would be more interest from the UK for the linksback. Dijks, which this week was told that he has no future...
These tucked in wingers worry me abit tbh. Kaz has the tight control to manage it but I reckon Buckley will struggle, he loves having space to run into and could find himself crowded out of alot of games or running into Bruno/Calderon.
As you said it could be ideal for McCourt tho.
Different player to Orlandi, He can create something out of nothing by running at payers: Orlandi was more of a Beckam type imho, makes himself half a yard and creates chances with his long ad short passing.
I'd bloody love to have McCourt down here and am really surprised he's still looking...
Ive said it all along that getting the best deals for the best players could be pivoting to our success this year. Imagine a scenario in January were our shrewd spending over the summer helps us bring in that extra bit of quality for the second half of the season. Nobody wants another obika or...
Indeed, I fully agree. Ashley Barnes wouldnt have helped us beat Derby last season and imho would have gone on a free by now. So tubby are u optimistic at the quality of player that we will bring in this season, sooner or later?
He really wasn't, he got skinned in the middle of the park by a cf who had a run on him. The rest of the game he did ok taking into account it was his first run out with a new back line and it was a PRE SEASON friendly.
By the end of the window we are gonna sign players, everyone including myself needs to just have alittle patience. Imho leaving it late gives us the best chance of getting the best value for money on both transfer fees and wages.
Its our way of dealing with FFP; definitely not exciting, not at...
For me, everyone is wetting themselves over afew bad pre-season run outs in which we haven't even had our best eleven fit players playing together. If in worst case scenario we only get one more player in: a goalie (obviously gonna be brought in b4 the 1st game), we could still see the following...
