[Albion] Alexis Mac Allister - *** New Contract Until 2025 ***

I do not feel he plays enough games and also "enough of the games he plays in" to really judge either way. He is able to break up play, pass, create space and put a good free kick in. Give him time to find his feet and this can only really be done by with more match time.

[Finance] The cryptocurrency (Bitcoin etc) thread

Telling people to "buy the dip" on Crypto is more akin to a halfway house between an addicted gambler betting to make up for losses and someone desperate to get others to join a Ponzi scheme. It's not like someone investing in Coca-Cola after CR7 made that comment last week. But I might be wrong.

    [Misc] F1 2021

That's why they had 2 Red Flags in Quali..... My comment was really about mechanical failure than anything else.

    [Misc] F1 2021

What surprised me about yesterday's race was the there were no retirements what shows a lot about the racing and how things are tuned down for money saving etc.

This is basically what Southampton did season after season until the flow of quality players slowly dried up.

They need to get the graphics sorted....

    GBNews: anyone watching?

It was classic going into the third day the presenters were still talking over eachother and with the lip-sync being so bad you couldn't work out what was going on. I'm expecting Chris Morris to come out as a producer.

    GBNews: anyone watching?

What do you mean democracy deniers? Are you asserting people who comment negatively about this channel are democracy deniers - or should you say free speech deniers? Alternatively, your assertion that people should not comment on the channel is they do not like is, is infact denying democracy...

    GBNews: anyone watching?

I don't really think that is the point. You could use that analogy when going to football and walking out after conceding two goals. This GBNews seems to be a comedy classic. Lip Sync Issues, bad lighting, Argos 1980s black-ash furniture, presenters talking/shouting over each other, banging on...

[Finance] The cryptocurrency (Bitcoin etc) thread

I wonder if the BTC crash is related at all with the Australian Police/FBI/EuroPol Messaging App Fraud collection and then related FBI actions today...or just totally separate actions?

I'll await the terms like "I readjusted my position to manage my expose to losses".... PANIC!

    [Politics] The dangers of liberalism

I think the term "liberal" is used quite liberally now (sorry for the pun!) for whenever someone wants to band together everything which does not fit in with the Tory Government or whatever Trump threw up between 2017 and 2021. To me it's seen as a pure defence mechanism, a "them against us"...

[Albion] Deluded Leeds (an EFL club) fans

I do wonder...if Biesla "made White who he is" and he was so "raw" before he came to Leeds....then why isn't Leeds full of Academy kids who are world class?

    [Albion] City fans reaction

The City fans need to realise that the history books will show that Brighton won. Get over it. Any kind of "if this" and "if that" reminds of good old Harty and "if my Gran had wheels, she'd be a bus". It gets incredibly tiresome to hear the bedwetting reporting in say the Manchester Evening...

    [Technology] Laptop advice!

Really... do not bother with a laptop! For that budget there are too many compromises. My laptop for work (data science, big data etc, that kind of stuff) is a Dell Xeon laptop (£2500k cost) and is really hobbled by its physical form. Overheats, poor implementation of hybrid graphics etc... If...
