A great purchase! I'd definitely be interested in hearing about your progress. I'm a big fan of low heart rate running and I wear a chest heart rate monitor for the majority of my running. It's a game of patience but it works and I have it to thank for my improvements over the last few years...

Good news on the Strava Year in Review stats front - it looks like this year Strava have changed it so that our total 2020 Year in Review "IG story style" stats are getting automatically updated through to the end of the year which is pretty cool. CC: Bozza & dazzer6666

The Strava Year Review stats are really cool this year but agree with Dazzer, it would be nice to receive it once the year ends. We haven't quite finished yet! :) Christmas Day hill reps 10 x 30 secs (jog recovery)? New Year's Day parkrun is also a really fun one. I was just...

That is exactly what the PL execs would love to do and should do, but they won't be able to because a sizeable chunk of the PL shareholders, the “big 6”, won’t agree with the rest of its members as they would prefer to individually have their own SVOD platform to sell the service direct to their...

I find running to km's is great for interval work outs and specific speed work. For everything else I'm either running to miles or usually to time. Eg. most days I just head out for a 50 / 60 / 75 mins run, not worrying about how far or fast I go, but they all count.

Haha! :lolol: I'm all in for some running nerdery so all good and thank you for asking as I didn't think to break my numbers down. It's pretty cool to lay it out over the year so thank you! I think working from home over the last 10 months has helped free up the time in the...

Many thanks! :) That's really fantastic volume too! Great question about how long it's taken. I didn't know so just logged onto Strava and it comes in at running the distance in 304 days. I think the most pleasing thing is that I haven't had any niggles, plus I've been able to tick along...

Nice Bozza. I think it's a really captivating film. Capturing a man's journey of discovery, both literally and metaphorically. This is my favourite line - "nothing is as powerful as something that you experience yourself."

hi guys, just adding another one of my favourite running-related films available on YouTube. Transamericana is a Salomon film following ultra runner Rickey Gates as he documents his epic journey of running the length of America (!), from South Carolina to San Francisco. If you have 75 minutes...

Nice! I hope the niggle settles down soon. I took my Saucony Endorphin Speed's out for their first run this morning. First impressions - wow, they are a lot of fun! I like how the nylon plate is much more subtle than the carbon plate shoes I have but they're definitely giving great energy...
