No that’s roughly how many people work for NHS England. The combined total of NHS England and the Dept of Health is about 19,000 which will be cut by 50%.

Well that remains to be seen doesn’t it? Do you use the LNER Trainline measure which improved under government management? Or, apparently, the NHS in Wales?

Because it’s not under direct government control and they want the NHS to be under direct government control. The other bodies that they have set up don’t need to be under direct government control. Yet.
