That's right. Big countries always missed out on qualifying. I remember France 84 when no home nations qualified - hardly any games were shown on British TV. Unbelievable when you think about saturation TV coverage now.

Started yesterday in a 2-0 win against the bottom club, Montpellier. Got 6/10 in L'Équipe which is equivalent to a 7 or 8 in the UK media. He has come into a potentially big club whose fans are angry about being a feeder club to Chelsea. One of the most fanatical fanbases but an unstable club.

No school uniform here. Quite common to wear football shirts to school here - as a teacher the shirt the pupil wears definitely has an influence on what I think of them!
