I sort of agree with you. People tend to like "novelty" managers like Di Canio or Holloway because they provoke a chuckle. Or terror in Di Canio's case. But that's short lived. I think what people really want is a manager who speaks frankly and openly about football and their team, dispensing...
He can do whatever he wants, to be frank. No one is going to give a shit if Saints are doing well (and even they aren't - really, who cares? Post match interviews are bilge no matter who the manager is).

Ah, I was talking about the Red Lion in Hove. I feel a bit bad about including it now anyway. It's just a dingy little local boozer with crap beer, not a terminal hovel like some of the other ones.
