Ray Eggleton's Seagull Scene on the Sussex Express website (that nice Lewes area paper!) used the Falmer countdown clock and notes it now stands at 0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds, so is having to refer to D-day + 16 and counting.
You can read/comment at...
'cos its 317 hours or 19073 minutes or 114430 seconds. See Drumstick's link on thread 83. (but this might be geared to a sunday midnight announcement! Unlikely I suppose.
The latest "Seagull Scene" in the Sussex Express, "Will PM Brown score on his debut?", uses the Falmer Decision Countdown clock. It's at http://www.sussexexpress.co.uk/sport?articleid=2979797 19,000 odd minutes to go!?
The "Seagull Scene" in the Sussex Express has only 13 days to go, or hours, or minutes, or seconds ....... and counting, using the Falmer Decision Countdown clock! See http://www.sussexexpress.co.uk/sport?articleid=2979797 for PM Brown to score on his debut!?
Surely its 14 days to the 9th - but if its to be, say mid-day friday 6th, only 11 days? I've just ploughed thro' 141 postings ...... wouldn't it be a good idea to have a CLOCK pinned on the Big board?

There are one or two there - but the paper does remove/edit out anything too offensive. (I'm thinking Lewes DC and Norman Baker MP here!).:falmerspi
Cheers Dez! Several positive responses now on the Sussex Express web site.
Heartening to see the paper allowing good sense - tho' one comment was edited out as unsuitable! :flameboun
