You get kicked out and Banned even if you dont start an anti standing song, and even if you dont swear at stewards
Wonder how many more ejections and bans tomorrow
Anyone know history- fascist dictatorships and stormtroopers come to mind!
FOREVER SEAGULLS!!!
It appears the General consensus is that Stewarding in the North Stand needs standing up to (Ha!) before it deteriorates further
So is this thread just all talk or is something actually going to happen
First things first- need a name for any new forum/grouping and clarify the aim (Consultation...
Anything worth having in this country has had to be fought for with protest
Rights to vote
Women equal pay/ sex discrimination act
Gay rights
Equality rights
Employment rights
Falmer for ALL (Not just ones who wanna sit)
So if we want the right to stand when watching football at this club. its...
I was at one of the last presentations- and it was last 8 rows (Stewards would be laid back and you could have a good time and get a bit exhuberant) cos the first 4 rows (At the back) sold out so bleeding quick!
Wonder if any North stand BHAFC stewards have been drafted in to help CPAFC stewards tomorrow?
Go lads! (My only EVER message of support for stewardsds) Ha!
How bout this one:
When I was, a little biddy boy
Me Grandmother gave me a cute little toy
Three Palace fans, hangin on a string
She told me to kick their ....ing heads in
followed by
La,la,la,la...la,la,la,la....hey, hey, yeah, Brighton Hove Albyon
Thats was one of the first songs I was...
Not that i think being forced to be seated is a good outcome.
However I Would start at the front of the standing and work back, so the row behind could see. Or is that too sensible for a steward
Not just pick someone out cos u dont like the look of them or theyre singing the loudest thats behind...
Hang on a minute- he didnt start the song- thats the whole point- just joined in
Couldav kicked half the North Stand out on that basis
Or he may have been kicked out for standing (Cos he couldnt see as they were standing in front of him)
So they couldav kicked the other half out and had an...
Have spoken to the first fan ejected at Bristol game today
He is not sure why he was ejected as he wasnt specifcally told and thinks it was either because the stewards thought he started the "Palass" chant (He didnt) or because was singing it as everyone else was.
Or when a second steward...
So- where would the complaint go to? Chief Executive?
What legal rights does any ejectee have? Expect theres some small print in the Season ticket conditions
Suppose any letter detailing an issue from the club could be deemed libellous
What gets me about the situation as I heard it was the ejecting steward giving his word several times that the fella (First half) wouldnt be ejected, and thats why he went voluntarily.
Wheres the integrity of the Steward?
Just about sums Stewards up I suppose
Then having a young female...
jjt 1976- i get a different story to you- and i know stewards too
First half fan has not been warned before- and was not told why ejected
When sold tickets we were all told back 8 rows could stand- and the stewards now know that is a statement to be regeretted
The fan ejected in the first half did not swear, nor was rascist, nor sexist but if anything raised his voice a bit to defend himself at a charged atmosphere of a football match he was trying to watch
He was referred to as "Oi you" and treated in a completely unfair and arbitrary way IMO
The...
Looks like 2 seperate incidents here
The fella who was deemed to have started the stand up if you 8 Palass song (But didnt)
And other incident- which it looks like what the photo is
Heard its stewards being told to calm people down before Palass game
CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY
