The thing that annoys me is that VAR seems to have encouraged people to dive and cheat. I hoped it would be the other way round. A tap on the leg in the box, go down and it’s a penalty. A much easier way to score than putting the ball in the net legitimately.

I had a similar bad experience for that one. I went via train and there was problem after problem. Eventually made it to the station at about ten to three, about two hours later than planned, to find the game was off! It was a long journey home too!

There is an electronic programme available for tonight’s game against Portsmouth, but no hardcopy available. The electronic version opens up in some horrible reader. Most of the pages seem to have a link on them so when I try to go from page to page it often navigates to some website aggghhh...
