[Albion] Who's ranked 7th in Europe for Head Coach Rating Improvement in 2024?

How is Santo not in this list? Appointed in Dec 2023 and 12 months ago Forest were 17th with 14 points from 18 games. Today, after 19 games they are 2nd on 37 points. Their website states - How is the Head Coach Rating calculated? Broadly, a Head Coach’s rating takes into account: The...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay

Went to watch Lens v Marseille last month. Maupay started and played okay; he provided two assists alongside his usual poor stuff. He was subbed off on the 90th min and cupped his ears to all sides of the ground as he walked off. Oh how me and my mate laughed as the petit shithouse was getting...

[Albion] Away fans to be moved at the Amex from 2027/28 (was 2025/26)

It’s only another 400 people though. The ground currently holds 31,800 and the capacity will rise to 32,500 which was what the last planning application sought.

Each to their own, I suppose, as being in a corner is not where I’d choose to be.

[Albion] Are we just a bit ‘meh’?

The correlation is wages paid and league finish, not so much transfer budget spent. We’ve spent £200m plus on players but our wages expenditure will still be mid table. Apart from that, I agree with yr post.

    [Albion] Ipswich Away

I suspect Row A is taken out of use because the only entrance/exit is at the bottom of VU1 ( I think). It’s over 12 years since I visited Portman Rd but there was a log jam by this door and plenty of friendly hand waving gestures between both sets of supporters. I suspect they keep the row back...

[Albion] Safe Standing 25/26 season (North Stand)

Very much this, I want to vote yes, but the bloke in front of us must be 6’4” at least and is a real pain in the arse when he stands up during an exciting phase of a match. It’d be a nightmare trying to watch the game with him stood in front of us all game.
