Most yes, but not all are Geordies and certainly not all have travelled from Newcastle. This is what the media constantly portrays. Was listening to 606 on way back from the game on Saturday and the first Newcastle fan on had a distinctly southern accent who had travelled all the way from...
Hold on a minute, this article is from a Newcastle fan who lives in London who regularly sees other southern-based Newcastle fans at away games. This can't be right because the media always tell us what wonderful fans Newcastle have for filling away ends down south when it's a squillion-mile...
Don't want to derail the Athens thread, but we've booked flights to Montpellier. Much cheaper and only 90 mins on train away. Still staying in Marseille.
The main thing I noticed about the game was how poor the atmosphere was once Arsenal went down to 10 men. Still 20 minutes to go and starting to get on top, that place should have been rocking. Instead you had those idiots behind the goal just killing any unity between the stands. Oh well, shame.
Try looking at a change at Crewe. Adds on a bit more time but has brought down the price for two of us from London with a Two Together from £140 to £95. Still ridiculous though.
Top four possibly optimistic, but I've just had a go at a starting 11, assuming Caicedo goes, and I've ended up leaving out Enciso, Lallana, Gross, Adingra, Undav, Milner, Welbeck, Verbruggen, Buonanotte, and on and on. The squad strength this season is just staggering. We're well equipped to...
Mine was also due to expire next February. I applied for a new one as soon as we qualified for Europe as, being a bit of a pathetic worrier, I didn't want to risk any delay possibly affecting our summer holiday and the regular Albion trips abroad. Got it back in a week.
I know the fashionable team to follow is St Pauli, but due to having a couple of HSV-supporting friends I've developed a love for Hamburg (likewise their love for the Albion). Been out there a few times and the atmosphere at their ground, like most German games to be honest, is fantastic. The...
Gotta be Brentford, but before then I want the Villa fans to go through the absolute wringer for 90 minutes before an injury-time winner from us breaks their pork scratchings-clogged hearts.
