No the UAE has very *very* strict drug laws. A poppyseed is technically an opiate and the minimum sentence for drugs is 4 years. BBC NEWS | UK | Tourists warned of UAE drug laws For reference, 0.003g of something is 3mg, a grain of salt weighs roughly 0.15mg so that's roughly 20 grains of salt...

What was the first game and the first computer you ever played on?

Combat on the Atari 2600. I collect old video games systems now so can always relive my youth :)

Another "I need a telly" thread.

You say that but there will be a marked difference, a pixel is only a small component of what goes on - backlighting, contrast rations, image processing etc. It's almost like saying a tyre is a tyre so why buy a bentley over a mondeo. FWIW to the OP I have an LED Samsung 40" D6100 and am very...

Quick question about mobility equipment in Hove/Portslade

I think you can get camping toilets in most outdoor shops, either that or ask if you can borrow a commode from the hospital!

History, Sky Channel 529 Right Now

I think that's a repeat of the one last week, did they go to the chilli shop on Trafalgar St? Was pretty decent.

    West stand upper

I like it up there, although I did feel more part of the game when I went into the NS on cup games. Remember though there is roughly 100 steps to the WSU, so you can ditch the gym membership!

Should we have a tune when we score or is it shit! If so...What?

A bit of "My heart will go on" after a goal would go down a treat. It always amuses me on the football league show when someone like morecambe score a consolation in the 90th minute, the players trudge back and Tom Hark blasts out at 200db.

Self employed IT contractors / programmers in here pls.

My real issue is I need to be able to pay the mortgage, but I've got some savings just in case I need them. I enjoy what I do where I do atm, but it seems that where I am might not have need for me in 6 months time. I have spoken to them and they are willing to be my first contract so thinking...

Self employed IT contractors / programmers in here pls.

At the moment I have a full time job as a mobile app developer but have been toying with the idea of becoming self employed. Is there anyone here that has made the jump?

Have a look at my programmes website

Excellent site mate, my only gripe is that it's completely in Flash which is a bit clunky, I would have used something like Wordpress.

Anyone actually get a usable mobile data signal at the AMEX on their mobile?

No, but seeing as nowadays whomever you go with is going to be pretty similar for coverage 99% of the time something like this could swing it. Vodafone for me has generally been crap in crowds (i.e football, brighton marathon etc)

Anyone actually get a usable mobile data signal at the AMEX on their mobile?

I always have a full signal showing on my phone, just I can't do anything WITH it. I work at the Uni and on non matchdays can use my mobile perfectly alright so I guess the sheer volume of users drags it down.
