I think the issue here is to do with the wording “ major investment “. The club has and will continue to invest in the players each season. However I see what the original poster was implying re investing for next step to progress. It’s worth remembering that as grateful as we all are to TB etc...

Cannot wait until Sunday. Many of the Knuckle draggers seem to think we are the easy game and are on the beach... Some of the more educated see that we are 4th best away and are in real form..(not many) plus none understand our desire to finish in top 10... Oh and the fact we could relegate them...

Just voted Leeds. Think after Evertons win today things have really changed at the bottom. All I can hope for is that Arsenal and Chelski beat Leeds in the next two games and then we rock up and relegate the Champions on Europe at Bellend road. That would be beautiful.(fingers crossed)

trouble is in order to get those results we need to stop conceding goals (2 a match at present)AND find a way to score some goals 1 in however many games (which is ridiculous) sadly CH lowest ever points total of 36 seems a long way off for now. (and we are talking 3 points)

Sadly to improve that means some serious investment into the FIRST team. (not purchases for the future) This season has proven to all that we were Lucky in many games and we have only really deserved to win very few games. Passing aside we are woeful at turning a team inside out and attacking...

seems a highly predictable performance so far. For whatever reason we have been slightly off the pace recently and are always ready and obliging to give away cheap goals. Sanchez is becoming too inconsistent in this regard and with our sloth like transitions any good play from defence quickly...

NOTHING will change until we invest in a striker or two. Anything else papers over the most obvious of cracks.
