Honestly I am not worried about *only* finishing in the top 10, I think the club have learnt a lot this season and will be focussed on having a decent Cup run and finishing in the European places next season. I still have to pinch myself to believe that we're even having this debate!
I just think we are playing Wolves at a bad time, they are on the up, we're doing well, but our schedule is mad and our injury situation is well known, and knowing RDZ we will still go for it but that will play in to their hands. 3-0 home win. I hope I'm wrong.
My first season ticket at the Goldstone was in the early Barry Lloyd era, so it will always be special to me in that way, in particular the play-off semi was amazing, of course. Must have been a real challenge to be manager back then, or more to the point, it would have been hard to attract...
The away end turnstiles queue management system we saw yesterday was implemented by SUFC after their head steward visited the Amex earlier in the season and noticed how we manage it. Well you wanted obscure positives!!
I used Seagulls travel coach service yesterday, yes it was an early start 6:50am pick up in BH and got home at 9:45pm but for me it just takes the stress out of it, if there is a delay, I just watch Netflix etc, but then I'm not one for drinking these days, so it works for me!
