England v South Africa, First Test at Lord's

I'd be more excited if I could actually watch it - BBC comms it is.

London mayor considers pay-per-mile road pricing and ban on new parking

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brighton_Corporation_Tramways "Improvements in motor bus and trolleybus technology meant that by the 1930s, the tram system found it difficult to compete, and most of the network was replaced by the Brighton trolleybus system or motor bus routes in 1939."

[Cricket] Local cricketers. Would YOU like to play here...?

I'm 24 now and it's a MASSIVE contributor as to why I've stopped this season. What is the point of playing when a guy will happily nick it to slip and not walk? What is the point in playing? And umpires...don't get me started! I fully appreciate a tough job but some of the howlers made are just...

[Misc] Team Bike or Team Van?

Team bike. Too many pot holes by the side of the road - cycling in this area is a lot safer. If a van needs to overtake he shouldn't be squeezing by tightly, he'd need to wait anyways till the other side is clear.

FA to trial Sin bins next season

Only the captain speaking to the ref already exists. What doesn't exist is any ref or anyone at the FA with the bottle to enforce it.

    Awards Dinner timing

A lot of players go on holiday straight after the last game of the season. Same reason PFA awards etc are before end of season.

    Silly question ref flag

Thought you wanted to buy a linesman flag from the title!

    Jonathan Calleri

Think I've watched most games for West Ham he's played, and I can confirm he is absolute PONY. A player to be avoided at all costs. :ffsparr:

89 again would have been more than enough

For me it was psychological saying we needed 90+ points at the time, I'm not used to these dizzy heights with Brighton and most of my sporting life I've learnt it's not over till it's over. It's made the celebration all the sweeter and now relaxing.

Interesting Stat - If games were only 45 minutes long - We'd be 4th!!

Huddersfield would be top, no? Based on the first half table they're 12th and 22 points less than they do now?

If games were 90 minutes (plus stoppage time) we'd be top ???

I never knew Norwich had an airport

I think Arsenal always used to get the flight to Norwich, which obviously meant they were in the air for less time than the match itself.
