Draft cider is Stowford Press. Not a cider man myself but I think that's decent stuff.
Excitingly we've just confirmed the arrival of the Darkstar Hophead carts that were formerly situated around the Amex. They'll be making a one night only appearance for the Sussex game.
Gutted I'm working...
Wozza - Refund policy is full money back (minus the 55 quid on booze and bbq) if there are 9.5 overs or less bowled. Long range forecast says next Thursday (furthest away it goes) looks glorious, so here's hoping!
Wozza - Can't guarantee the weather but, as name suggests, you're under a roof so you don't get wet. You also get £45 back if there's no play. We reckon you can get through £55 of booze and BBQ even with no cricket.
Bozza - Yes, veggie options on the BBQ. Loads of salad, veggie burgers, new...
Hi Everyone..
Long time reader, infrequent poster. WSU Season Ticket Holder, Shoreham resident – and I work in London at the Kia Oval Cricket Ground.
Given my love for NSC, I thought it would be good to chuck Bozza some cash to advertise the Surrey – Sussex NatWest T20 Blast game at the Kia...
Another good season for the Red Sox will be nice but I'm just looking forward to it all kicking off again. Nothing more relaxing in sport than lolling around with the sounds of a baseball game gently going on the background.
Enjoyed the SCG game at the weekend as well - would be great to MLB...
Has anybody on here read the Michael Calvin book about Millwall (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Family-Death-Football-Frontline-Proper/dp/1906850267).
First up, I'd recommend it to anybody interested in the game. The access Millwall gave him is unprecedented and the book is a really intelligent look...
Agree with all those who say they don't understand the negativity. A few points:
- Gutted to lose AEA but he wants to play and I really respect that. Bristol City have got a great player and I will look out for their results for as long as he's still there. He needs to go on the Dick's Window...
Yeah, thanks for all your hard work Ashley - you'll certainly be missed in my particular area of WSU.
One of the most undervalued players we've had I think - particularly under Poyet when he never knew which area of the pitch he'd be asked to patrol next!
Sorry if fixtures (looked around a bit and didn't see anything) but does anybody know if there's a coach going to Charlton on Boxing Day?
Wife's working so thinking about meeting a mate from London there but the trains are an absolute shocker..
Fully agree with OP. Butland was driving me nuts last night with the amount of time he wasted.
Because of the injury to the ref, hardly any of it was added back on either.
I'd like to see indirect free kicks (for consistent infringement of the rule) - that will make sure keepers don't play...
Speaking as a trained hack who still works in an associated industry, the way The Argus do their top lines is totally wrong-headed and angers me every time I pick up the paper.
Many pieces of research have shown that the only way local news can really survive and thrive is to embrace...
Although someone like Will Self can write very well, he gives oxygen to absolute bell ends like this bloke who think that having some kind of dystopian world view is being part of a 'movement'.
The way this is written sounds like he is auditioning for the NME in the 80s. Really basic agitprop...
Had the privilege of meeting him once, as he was totally dominating the entirety of Salisbury Cathedral. Yes, he was quite imposing.
I think his music will be have a re-awakening now he has passed away. Aside from the religious connotations, it is very serious indeed and I think a lot of people...
