For those staying in Liverpool Sunday nght, or those that live local, how about if we all meet up in the same pub? Somewhere near the ground or in the city centre? Alternatively, one of the hotel bars where people are staying. Hilton is nice, central, but a bit pricey!
Currently work for Princes Foods based in the RLB.
Live on the Wirral.
I've got a couple of season tickets at the Amex, so if you fancy a trip down and I'm not going, you're more than welcome to use them.
The Three Graces (Liver Building, Cunard Building, Port of Liverpool Building (where I work) which is a world heritage site.
Well driver8, there's a coincidence, I currently work in the Liver Building. Anyone out there work in the Cunard Building, to make it NSCer's in 3 out of 3?
Do you...
If you're staying 3 nights, booking a self contained apartment is better value.
But if it's hotel's you'e after, Crowne Plaza, Atlantic Towers, Radison, Holiday Inn are all in the city centre. If you're after more budget hotels - Campanile, Formula One etc are all around the city centre.
PM me...
Just a heads up.
If you're planning to stay in Liverpool before of after the match, book a hotel early. It's always a nightmare getting a hotel room when Liverpool are playing at home due to all the foreigners that come for the match.
There are plenty to choose from, at various prices.
Budget...
I've come a cropper the following week. Booked train tickets (x2)from home (Liverpool) to Brighton foir the West Ham game, then not content from just changing the time, the match is moved to Monday night. Advance yrain tickets are non refundable!! That's £100 down the swanny.
Hmm, just looked and thewre is no reply button, and from the top right button the options I get are Refresh or mark as read???
Is there something I should have done when I set it up?
Couldn't agree more. I've lived on the Wirral for the last 17 years, and although I wouldn't go as far to say Brighton has become the second team for alot of people I know, the Albion is certainly the next result they look for! And as for trouble in town on a Friday or Saturday night, I've seen...
Blackpool team coach is stuck in horrendius traffic on the M6. GTF moaning an hour ago, that they are still an hour away from Knutsford so won't be in Brighton until after 10.00 tonight. "not the best prep for a tough game after sun/wed games"
Ah, bless them!!!
No mate you were fine! Hope you didn't mind the winning goal celebrations! Drove back home this morning, it was a breeze to be honest, only took 3 3/4 hours! Enjoy the next couple of games.
Anybody watch this guy (Watch 9.00pm)? Very clever.
Part of this evenings show was filmed at a Rio Ferdinand party in London, in attendance and interviewed, albiet very briely,.........Dean Cox.
If we assume we more or less sell out every home, and with the potential large crowds at away games (Leeds, Derby, West Ham, Soton, Birmingham etc) will this season see the biggest number fo fans to watch the Albion in one season?
Hmm maybe not, with 190,000 watching 2 Cup Finals in '83...
I drive into Warrington everyday on my way to work, and there is a sign, "Welcome to Warrington, the home of Warrington Wolves", along with club badge. Picture to follow tomorrow!
Something I think Brighton City council should consider.
