    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Syria taught the lesson that Putin can no longer support his dictator buddies. Lukashenko was always going to be the next domino to start tottering after the Syria domino crashed down. The idea must have crossed every Belarusian mind that Putin is now unable to save Lukashenko. So.... it...

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

I don't think it is out of the question actually. Crimea - it can be argued that it isn't historically welded to Ukraine. It was in the Russian Soviet Republic and then transferred to the Ukrainian Soviet Republic as a swap for Ukrainian lands around Rostov. I don't reckon it's a deal breaker...

[Albion] Club selling your seat, is this right?

I'm not the fan in question but I've missed all 8 due to childcare issues. My selling on the exchange/friends and family has been "patchy". I got the email of doom, but they haven't listed my tickets. The dread email says : " A reminder, the season ticket needs to be used by you, as the...

[Albion] Club selling your seat, is this right?

Pretty sure that I'm going to have my season ticket revoked at the end of the year for not using the ticket personnally enough. Realistically it is 8 more years before my weekend childcare complications are behind me. Oh well. Pity. But my bank manager will be happier.

[Travel] Has the general standard of driving gone down since Covid

I am shocked at the number of cars that now don't seem to have functioning indicator lights. Indicator lights must be really poor quality these days. Obviously to pass the MOT they have to work - but days/weeks later they must have broken.

    [Drinking] Work Christmas parties

I'm off for our DRY Christmas lunch soon. I'm anticipating a very dull and awkward occasion - hopefully lessons will be learnt and the booze will be back on offer next year.

[Albion] Now everyone has had their 'fun', perhaps time to calm down a little?

It's not just the Palace game but the cumulative disappointment after disappointment of the last 4 games. But today is a new day. Let's now beat West Ham and Brentford and get back on track.
