Not an obsession, just an observation.
I have enough loyalty points to buy a Swansea ticket next Tuesday. I am not fussed about going to this particular match as I have another commitment for that match day. This would allow someone with fewer points than me to attend that match.
However with...
Now to be replaced by fans with the most loyalty points attending matches they would otherwise not go to just so that they can go to matches they do want to go to. Still won't help fans with fewer loyalty points.
Bozza - do you know when the club will be sending a letter to all fans critical of the current loyalty scheme to tell them if they refuse to support the clubs' stance, they will be deducted loyalty points and banned from purchasing away tickets?
If the club chose to award zero loyalty points for the away matches at the likes of Swansea, Burnley, Huddersfield and Newcastle (on New Years Eve), based on past away attendences for these fixtures the liklihood is anyone who wanted to go to these games would be able to get a ticket. No-one...
There clearly is something seriously wrong with the current scheme if a loyal fan with borderline tier 1 points regrets not buying a disposable ticket!
Can anyone explain why more loyalty points are being awarded for the Swansea away match than the Arsenal away match? Fewer tickets are available for Swansea, so the demand for tickets is obviously higher than for the Arsenal match for people with a high number of loyalty points. Seems like the...
Ryanair's, Michael O'Leary, arrives in a hotel in Dublin; he goes to the bar and asks for a pint of draught Guinness. The barman nodded and said, "That will be one Euro please, Mr. O'Leary."
Somewhat taken aback, O'Leary replied, "That's very cheap," and handed over his money.
"Well, we try to...
An opportunity for the biggest clubs in Europe to pull their first teams out of their own domestic leagues, ditch the EUFA's Champions League, and set up their own European Super League of say just 18 teams with matches played every Saturday/Sunday over a 36 week season excluding a winter break...
I agree with you 100%.
As many have said, if the club does not offer any loyalty points for meaningless cup games played between reserve sides:
1) die hards who go to all or many Albion away matches will be able to get tickets. They most probably have so many loyalty points they don't need any...
Perhaps they found out that he had bought tickets for a Bristol City away game just to get loyalty points, and then didn't attend the match. The FA (as well as former FA employees) just would be able to stomach that.
Sampson's "previous" may have been making politcally incorrect comments to players while at Bristol. Who knows. From what the FA has said it appears he is not a physical danger to players (unless verbal assualts are considered a "danger" preventing him from coaching). Perhaps Sampson comes from...
Seems like Paul Barber is swerving around the problem and seeking to tackle symptoms rather than causes. No mention is made of the thousands of no shows against Barnet when people bought cheap tickets just to get loyalty points.
The easiest soultion to the problem would be to award no loyalty...
I had more than enough loyalty points to get a ticket to go to Bournemouth last night, but chose not to buy a ticket as it was obvious the match would be played betwen the Bournmouth and Brighton reserve teams.
Why did the club only offer 5 loyalty points for the Bournemoth vs Brighton first...
Think you are correct as I have just bought 3 tickets, 2 of which I thought I could not buy until 9am.
For anyone interested, it is possible to buy London Stadium match day tours on line for tours up until 3pm on Friday 20 October.
The only guarantees you get when buying a Ryanair ticket is a low cost no frills ticket and a poor customer service. Don't know why people who bought a Ryanair ticket are complaining. They got what they paid for.
I have flown Ryanair in the past, and have chosen never to fly with them again.
There were over 10,000 empty seats at the Emirates last night, and it is estimated approx 10,000 Cologne fans got into the ground. Arsenal could have chosen to sell more seats directly to Cologne fans and had fans segregated if they wanted to. Apparently Cologne had 20,000 aplicants for their...
I agree with you. Genuine fans desperate to watch their own team in an important match for them do not deserve to be called idiots. Arsenal FC should have allocated Cologne fans more tickets in the first place.
