    [Albion] Fab OUT

Obviously. That is just life. The impact of injuries isn't equal. The impact of a rainy day isn't equal. The impact of the leg space on the flight to the game isn't equal. The impact of the wallets of the owners isn't equal. If Fabian Hurzeler pops up in training after the Nottingham lost with...

    [Albion] Fab OUT

Yes. Every team gets injuries every season though so its like saying we'd probably be higher in the league with cyborgs from the future

[Other Sport] Birmingham City Football Club

Birmingham should have two teams in the Premier League. Could be the next team to join the league and really put in the resources required to have a chance of staying up. Getting promoted from the Championship isn't super easy though.

    [Albion] Fab OUT

Thanks for calling me "people", I'll put it on my CV. The last six months looked a lot like the previous six months, with the difference that people were happy because we were winning against an Ajax close to the relegation zone in Eredivisie, a French team that finished mid-table in Ligue 1...

    [Albion] Fab OUT

I agree and disagree. Like you seem to do, I prefer the über-controlling short pass football a la Potter/De Zerbi compared to the "lets chaos" style from Hurzeler, though I think the latter suits us better at the moment. But the iteration of dominant short passing football we played last...

Coffee obviously. I'm not some New Age monk.

[Albion] Can we forget the Champions League now?

Hearts are intellectually handicapped. Look at the table and the number of points remaining with your brain instead and you'll find the season is far from over.

[Albion] Where in the world is Joao Pedro?

Hopefully many enough to sell him. Good player but think we can find better.

[Albion] Liam Delap - Man City

After this season, he's going to want really high wages and will end up somewhere where they offer that... also known as "not Brighton". We don't buy established Premier League players and this guy is no exception.

[Albion] What are the reasons for our awful injury record?

Mix of things. A lot of changes to both football and medical staff though so we'll see in time if it will improve or not. Many of the players most frequently injured this season seem to be carrying stuff from last year. Solly March and his ACL injury and the aftermaths of it, Evan Fergusons...

[Albion] Can we forget the Champions League now?

More likely than I would have thought before the season. Still very unlikely though. Tbh I don't really even think of it. Would be fantastic with any of the continental cups.

    [Politics] Donald Trump, US President

"Destruction leads to a very rough road, but it also breeds creation", as they say. People tolerate deeper and more radical changes when under pressure. Smashing the economy every now and then leads to more, faster societal movement. "Simple" entropy. As a conspiracy theorist it looks like a...

[Albion] Where in the world is Joao Pedro?

True and not true. Someone who only plays domestic club football will work less than the average man. International players from CL/EL teams often spend a total of ~4-4.5 months per year in various hotels. Given they are frequently young parents, its quite a lot of family time sacrificed.

    [Albion] Fab OUT

I'm struggling to see what was so exciting about our football last season that makes Fabians football seem "dull". Yes, ok, maybe if you ignore the league games and only think of Europe. We're fun. Arguably a little bit too fun sometimes.
